The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development announced in 2014 the"Some Opinions on the Isolation and Seismic Reduction Technology for Housing Construction Projects(Interim)"(Quality[2014]No.25)documents,it is required that the building in the area with the intensity of seismic fortification 8 degree or above should adopt the technology of seismic mitigation or isolation.Practice has proved that the seismic mitigation or isolation technology can effectively reduce the earthquake action,improve housing construction seismic capacity,so the seismic isolation technology has been rapidly applied and developed in high intensity areas in China,especially in new public buildings,such as schools,airport terminal buildings and hospitals.From a technical point of view,shock absorption and isolation are relatively mature,but the two technologies have great influence and difference in terms of construction period,construction cost,construction difficulty and operation and maintenance cost.For a specific project,from the perspective of the whole life cycle of the project,it is of great practical significance to analyze and compare the merits and differences of the two technical proposals and make scientific decisions from the two aspects of technology and economy.This paper makes a comparative study of the two technologies.In this paper,the construction process,detailed construction steps,key points in the construction process and the later inspection and maintenance are analyzed in detail.In order to reduce the complexity of the construction technology of isolation scheme comparison,this paper brought through the study of two kinds of construction technology to increase the amount of days to compare their complexity of construction,on this basis,and analysis of effects of two kinds of technology on the duration of the project comparison.From the point of view of economy,the mathematical models of life cycle cost are established for seismic isolation technology respectively.The mathematical models include initial cost,daily inspection and maintenance cost,and structural failure loss cost.By analyzing the cost of each stage and establishing corresponding mathematical functions,the whole life cycle cost model of seismic isolation technology is formed,and then through the model calculation,which technology is more economical and cost-effective.Through comparative analysis,the main conclusions are as follows:(1)Construction period.Shock absorption technology does not increase the duration of the project,increasing the duration of isolation technology is 2?3 times of the first floor of the project construction period,so the project proposals for rush deadlines preferred shock absorption technology.(2)The complexity of the construction technology.This paper introduces two kinds of installation technology were spent on installation work compared to the complexity of the analysis according to the recorded data,in addition to the construction of isolation layer for the dates is about 3 times the damping components required for installation work outside the basement isolation structure of the elevator and the isolation layer of pipeline softening treatment the construction is complicated,so the construction of isolation technology is more complex.(3)Economy.Compared with isolation technology,the cost of initial cost of shock absorption,maintenance and maintenance management cost is lower,and the cost of failure loss is higher.It is assumed that the probability of a larger earthquake occurring in the whole life cycle of a construction project is less.It is suggested that the shock absorption technology should be considered first.If the probability is relatively large,it is preferable to consider the isolation technology.Through a student apartment project,the above theory is empirically analyzed,which proves that the research conclusion is reliable.It is hoped that the research results will provide guidance for scientific selection of new projects in high intensity areas.
