With the accelerated process of China’s urbanization, housing construction has becomean urgent and important task. Construction Industrialization has fundamentally changedChina’s construction from extensive form to intensive form. It will enhance the science andtechnology level of construction, improve construction efficiency, the comprehensive qualityof construction and the overall efficiency, promote the sustainable development ofconstruction industry, fulfill residents’ housing needs and improve their living quality.Although construction industrialization has been advocated for many years in China, thebuildings constructed by the way of industrialization are extremely rare. Not only china hasnot mature structure system and reasonable construction technology of buildingindustrialization, but also the cost of industrialized buildings is higher than the cost oftraditional buildings. Therefore, it is necessary to make research to find reasonableconstruction technology and make the industrialized building have good economicperformance. This paper studies the construction technology and economic performance ofindustrialized building’s PC wall. First, from the concept of construction industrialization, itsystematicly and comprehensively expounds the technology system and the advantages ordisadvantages of PC structure. Next it studies the construction process of PC wall, includingset apart the PC units from the overall design of the construction, the detailed design of PCwall units the construction technology and summaries the feasible construction technologyto provide a reference for the construction of PC wall. Then, it not only compares the costs ofindustrialized building with traditional building and summary the advantage of industrializedbuilding but also set different precast production of industrialized building to meet the itsgood performance. It also compares the industrialized houses’ life cycle cost with traditionalhouses’ life cycle cost as to provide the theoretical basis for the investment of industrializedbuilding. Finally, it studies the PC wall’s affection of the rigidity of the whole building underthe earthquake action and compares its economic performance with the frame structure whichfilled with walls.
