Because of its distinctive color,the colored pavement can guide the traffic and beautify the environment effectively,and therefore has been used more and more widely in the road construction.However,lack of experience in application and maintenance about the colored pavement,coupled with the long-term role of transportation and environmental factors,the colored pavement lost its due value and significance quickly.At present,there are few researches on the application of colorless emulsified asphalt in the colored pavement maintenance.Therefore,based on the colorless asphalt,the preparation technology and performance of colored emulsified asphalt seal mixtures in this paper was studied,and in order to provide a method to solve the problem of colored pavement maintenance.From the development of colorless asphalt began in this paper.First,the composition of asphalt was studied,and then the materials of colorless asphalt were selected;Secondly,the colorless asphalt preparation scheme by using orthogonal design to prepare,with penetration value,softening point,ductility value as the index,by using variance analysis method,the influence of the materials of colorless asphalt performance was analyzed and finally the optimal dosage range of materials was determined.Based on the colorless asphalt,the colorless emulsified asphalt was studied.Through the study on emulsifier,and then with ld and 5d storage stability value for index,the influence law of emulsifier and its dosage on the storage stability of emulsified asphalt was investigated,and further the influence law of additives on the storage stability was studied.Finally the performance of colorless emulsified asphalt and the modified emulsified asphalt was compared.Based on the Stokes Theorem and the colorless emulsified asphalt,the development of colored emulsified asphalt seal mixture was prepared by combining with the functional fillers,pigments and mineral aggregate.First,by utilizing 5d storage stability test,with the regression analysis and linear trend as the analysis method,the influence law of different factors on storage stability was investigated.Second,by utilizing lh and 6d wet track abrasion test,the influence law of different factors on the wet track abrasion test was investigated.Finally,the performance of colored emulsified asphalt seal mixture was verified by the test road and then the optimum engineering application scheme was put forward.The results show that:The colorless asphalt has better adhesion performance than common modified asphalt.For the emulsification of colorless asphalt,the emulsifying properties of the composite emulsifier are better than the single emulsifier.The colored emulsified asphalt seal mixture has excellent storage stability and anti-wear performance.Application in the practical engineering,the colored emulsified asphalt seal mixture is stored in liquid form,and constructs by artificial scraping or mechanical spraying.After molding,the thickness is about 2-3mm.It has the advantages of low cost,safety,environmental protection,convenient construction,good durability,and fast forming etc.It has a huge potential and advantage in early maintenance,pavement disease repair and the colored pavement of non color pavement.
