Currently, main-line highway network has initially formed in china, the pace of highwayconstruction is slowing down gradually, on the basis of highway construction regulation,when the highway construction scale up to a certain, the operational management of theexisting roads will gradually become the core of the work of the road management unit, roadmaintenance and repair activities will certainly become an important part of its work.The semi-rigid base asphalt pavement is mostly adopted in china. Therefore, this paperfirst from shrinkage cracks characteristics of semi-rigid base material, contact characteristicsbetween the layers of the pavement structure, the pavement structure water sensitive propertyand pavement maintenance and repair characteristics point of view on the main characteristicsof the semi-rigid base asphalt pavement. By summing up the asphalt pavement conditionsurvey significance, indentified the semi-rigid base asphalt pavement condition survey mainly,and based on the content of the survey launched a detailed investigation of the correspondingsections of pavement, analysis the characteristics and mechanism of the pavement typicaldisease, which can provide direct evidence for pavement maintenance and repair programs.For more accurate evaluation of road damage, rutting from the pavement surface distresssituation extracted as an independent pavement performance evaluation of individualindicators, and then analyzes the lack of the pavement performance comprehensive evaluationmodel, and established comprehensive evaluation model as the theoretical basis of principalcomponent analysis, and compare the results of the evaluation of the normative evaluationmodel with principal component analysis model, pointing out the reason that the specificationevaluation index and principal component analysis the evaluation index should not be selectedon the basis of road maintenance and repair program. Analysis of the deficiencies of theexisting sections divided, identified an ordered sample cluster method as a division of theMaintenance section, elaborate the principle of pavement maintenance and repair options. Theprinciple that similar extent of damage to a variety of pavement disease treatment may be bythe same kind of maintenance methods, and based on the same maintenance method mergeroad surface diseases, given the concept of maintenance and repair rate and divided into sealing rate, mild repair rate, moderate rate of repair, severe repair rate and gives thecorresponding formula, presented to the pavement maintenance and repair index-PMI(pavement maintenance Index) as the basis of the Maintenance options, combined withmaintenance and repair rate, in order to establishment maintenance and repair programselection decision tree, the decision tree model is verified by the actual road and find thedecision tree in line with the needs of the pavement maintenance and repair. Finally, using theARIMA forecasting model of time series analysis to predict the quality of the decay law of theroad taken on the maintenance measures.
