A Research On Improving The Container Terminal's Shipping Efficiency Of S Company

With the development of large-scale ship,in order to reduce the operating costs,Shipping companies generally choose the container terminal which with fast shipping efficiency,advanced technology for berthing handling.in order to attract more shipping companies and enhance their own competitiveness,the container terminal will upgrade to higher technology,improving the handling ability to compress the ship time in port,thereby reducing the ship the cost of operating in the berth.Taking S container terminal company as an example,this paper discusses how to improve the efficiency of ship operation in the process of port loading and unloading in S company,so as to provide suggestions for how to improve the efficiency of ship operation in the terminal industry.In this paper,by statistics of the operation efficiency of the three main shipping-line of S company in 2017,it can be found that the efficiency of operation is lower than the target value(30)of the year during Jan to June.Through the depiction of the Service Blueprint and the Fish Bone analysis of the S company to get the factors that affect the efficiency of the operation,and the results of actual observation in the working field,the results show that the waiting time and idle time of the three equipments are too long,and the traffic flow is confusion seriously.Based on the JIT method,the paper analysis the causes of low efficiency on the part of the yard planning,the driver(etc.)under different equipment state and the different operation time period.Study the causes of the traffic jam under the Bridge by FMEA method,to find the fast solution method(such as the site line,the new sign card,etc.),then solve the traffic chaos,enhance the efficiency of ship operations.Finally,according to the specific implementation,following the efficiency change from Jul to Dec 2017,comparing the operating cost of the equipment before and after the optimization,it is obviously improved y,and the cost has been further optimized.It is hoped that it can be used as a reference for the industry to improve the efficiency of the shipping operation.
