With the rapid socio-economic development in recent years,the city’s living standards have improved and the number of cars has increased in China.This has led to a growing problem of traffic congestion.Traffic lights play an important role in urban traffic control as an important tool to ease urban traffic.Therefore,for the study of real-time traffic signal control methods is of great significance.Urban traffic is a complex system composed of a variety of environmental factors.When optimizing control methods,it often starts from different perspectives such as traffic flow,load balancing,energy saving and environmental protection,and adopts various methods to solve the coordination of traffic conditions at urban road intersections.In the research of this paper,we analyze and compare the simulation data obtained from past researchers on the field of traffic signal timing,then we summarize the advantages and disadvantages of the current research area of traffic signal optimization.Because the current research method is to optimize the traffic environment for specific phases,this paper proposes a dynamic phase traffic signal control strategy based on traffic under the polling mechanism.The strategy is to divide the control period according to traffic volume at each intersection,and to dynamically plan the phase of the lane for different periods.At the same time,the fuzzy control model is used to dynamically adjust the signal timing for real-time traffic conditions in each period to ensure the smooth flow of traffic at intersections.This paper uses the simulation experiment at the intersection of Changyuan South Road and Kunzhou Road in Kunming as a sample to control the proposed control.Analysis of the strategy,the main content of its research includes:1.Introducing the key parameters and technical indicators in the urban traffic signal control and the mapping relationship of the polling control model in the traffic control system,then compare the known traffic signal control strategy as a theoretical basis for research;2 The principle of the signal timing algorithm using threshold control,adding fuzzy control algorithm under its algorithm,and propose a dynamic strategy of lane phase dynamics based on traffic,and giving a feature description of the traffic signal control system on the VISSIM simulation platform.The traffic signal performance indicators are analyzed.3.After summarizing the contents of this research,a traffic control dynamic signal timing system software based on flow control is developed.The traffic control strategy is refined by analyzing the performance indicators obtained by the operation.Through the study of this study,the feasibility of the flow-based dynamic phase control strategy was verified,and the dynamic control of traffic signals at city level intersections was realized,and the simulation model was established based on the dynamic timing strategy of flow control traffic signals.The platform can dynamically select the intersection phase,get the corresponding green light timing,and simulate the current traffic conditions of the intersection,providing a reference for the study of the traffic area.
