Study On The Protection And Renewal Strategy Of Kunming Historical And Cultural District

With the process of urbanization,the government proceeded from the optimization of urban functions and the settlement of urban construction funds,and promoted the renovation and reconstruction of old cities represented by the transformation of shantytowns and urban villages.Since the 1980 s,due to the incompleteness of the protection ideology system(a single system centered on cultural relics protection)and the absence of government management functions,we have neglected historical buildings,traditional street structures,and historical environmental factors.Heritage protection.The traditional historic districts such as Xiaoximen and Renmin Middle Road in the main cities of Kunming were demolished,causing irreparable damage to the pattern of Kunming ancient city and the protection of traditional culture.The remaining historical districts are also faced with the problem of the imitation of architectural styles and the homogeneity of cultural content.They are modern commercial streets and static tourist attractions that lack historical tastes and cultural connotations.How to protect and update historical blocks,and how to protect the traditional culture of historic blocks,is of great significance to the protection and renovation of historic blocks in Kunming.This article focuses on the study of the conservation of traditional culture in the historic districts of Kunming Wenming Street Historic District(the only approved provincial historic district in Kunming).Through researching and analyzing the factors causing the lack of traditional culture in Kunming historic districts,the corresponding optimization methods and strategies were discussed.The protection methods of traditional cultural content in Kunming historic districts were proposed from the aspects of protection and renewed positioning of historical streets,street and lane space protection,and building protection.First of all,through the study of the protection and update cases of historic street blocks at home and abroad,the mode of protection and renewal of historic blocks was summarized and the experience of the renovation and protection of the historical block in Kunming was found.Secondly,from the aspects of street and lanespace,architectural forms,cultural values,protection and renewal,etc.,the cultural content of the preservation and inheritance of the historical block of Civilization Street was clarified,and the model of protection and updating was explored accordingly.Thirdly,based on the reasons of the lack of cultural value in the historical block of Wenming Street,the impact of urban development stage,protection and renewal work,and social cognition on the protection of the historic block in Kunming is analyzed,and corresponding countermeasures are proposed.Finally,the countermeasures and methods for the protection and renewal of Kunming historical and cultural blocks are put forward.The protection of multi-hierarchy systems in historic districts is the core content of the protection system of historical and cultural cities.The current protection of Kunming historic districts has lagged behind the protection of traditional culture,and the unprotected updating of historical buildings and a large number of traditional architectural styles and historical environmental elements.Has become a major factor restricting its protection value and cultural heritage.The paper puts forward objectives and principles from the management ideology,improves the cultural protection of historic neighborhoods from implementation,raises the level and methods of public participation from social participation,and protects and updates specific historical districts,from the positioning of historic districts,to street and lane space.The specific methods of work are proposed in the areas of building protection and renewal,etc.,and put forward feasible implementation paths for the protection and renovation of historical and cultural streets in Kunming.
