Guangdong province is located in the heavy rainfall area.There are lots of slopes and related engineering projects being damaged every year because of heavy rain.How to decrease natural hazards and economic losses caused by landside and water-soil erosion by analyzing the impacts of heavy rainfall on slopes is of great significance.The manual obtain the stiffness and strength parameters of original soil layers at various moistyre contents by applying hydraulic triaxle apparatus.Based on the stiffness and strength of original soil layers,the erosion mechanisms of original granite slope under the heavy rainfall are analyzed.And using numerical simulations,slope security coefficients changes in the next thirty years can be calculated.Our analysis on slope secular stability provide theoretical foundations for protection design.The main research results are as follows:1.Our article concludes that the damage is caused by erosion with superficial sliding destruction.Besides that,by getting fifty groups of data on original and stable slope rates,we provide foundations for the weathered granite slope design;2.Based on the forecasting model of Arya-Pairs,the soil-water characteristic curves was obtained through distributionin curves of soil grains.By contrasting our curves to the experimental data,we assert that our forecasting models are valid.By conducting the dynamic water head permeability tests,we obtained permeability coefficients in different slope depths.Then we fit our formulas of permeability coefficients in different slope depths and with different granite slope depth;3.The triaxial tests in the original granite residual soils and weathered granite are carried respectively through manual hydraulic control type triaxle instrument.We get the strength and stiffness parameters about two soils in various moisture content and their relations through the tests.Other physical and aqueous index about weathered granite slopes are calculated according to the examing reports in engineering experiments.With those parameters,we created a predictor formula;4.The article analyses the erosion mechanisms of original weathered granite slope.By using numerical simulations,we contrast pore water pressure,stress,displacement,security parameters on three occasions:natural situations,rainfall infiltration,and rainfall erosion.We get the impacts of erosion effects on slope stability through the contrast;5.We established protection models about original weathered granite slopes.After that,we calculated climate changing parameter curves form the weather forecasting BCCWG Software and climate databases.Using the Geostudio software we analyzed the slope moisture content in the next thirty years.The security parameter curves about original weathered in Highway operating period granite slopes was obtained.Our models provide reference for future engineering projects on protection.
