Brake is one of the important parts of automobile brake system,which directly affects the quality of the performance of the brake system,the brake detection size is an important index of brake lining quality detection,the detection of most brake size or artificial detection,low detection efficiency and accuracy,this method of detection backward has been difficult to meet the requirements of test automation development,so this paper makes a deep research on machine vision detection system based on integrated brake pad size,mainly carried out the following research work:(1)The brake piece size detection requirements are analyzed,the brake piece size online detection device is designed,and the mechanical structure and the electromechanical control system of the online detection device are analyzed.(2)The hardware of the detection unit is selected,and the hardware mainly includes the industrial camera,lens,light source,computer,etc.and the construction of the detection platform is completed.(3)According to the design principles of dimensional tolerances and the design criteria of the standard size tolerance zones for circular and straight line sizes,combined with the brake disc drawings and the AutoCAD software,we draw the standard size tolerance control charts of brake pads as standard comparison template drawings.(4)Design of brake pad size synthesis detection algorithm,first detected brake image preprocessing,and then through the minimum bounding rectangle algorithm and compared to standard template pixel unified standard,and then rotate the detected brake level position is the image to be detected,and the brake pads and the standard template image alignment graph cut into the same size the picture,finally will be seized brake image edge detection,and compared to standard template for anti operation,the two images together,take a number of standard template matching white pixels before and after anti map addition operation which is brake pad size is eligible.(5)Experiments were performed to verify the size of comprehensive detection algorithm,the verification results show that the detection accuracy can reach 0.1pixel size,a speed of 5 seconds,achieved brake size detection requirements,and compare the methods of this algorithm and image processing of the general brake pad size,the algorithm is more superior.
