Research On Vertical Greening Landscape Construction Of Road And Building In Changsha City

The acceleration of urbanization has become the biggest obstacle to improve the urban ecological environment.Due to the densely populated urban areas and the shortage of land,fewer and fewer lands are available for greening.In addition,without changing the layout of urban buildings and the nature of green space,vertical greening has become a practical method to improve the green area and the ecological environment.Thus,vertical greening emerged during the development of human civilization.Wall greening,overpass greening,slope retaining wall greening and roof greening are very important part of vertical greening.Based on the needs of urban ecological construction,the development of vertical greening has drawn more and more attention.The existing types of vertical greening in Changsha include overpass greening,public greening of footbridges,greening of bus stops,greening of structures,greening of walls and greening of roofs.In this paper,the investigation of these different types of greening cases was conducted and the greening effects of some typical cases were analyzed.The results showed that the ecological and landscape effects of vertical greening projects such as the Orange Bridge,Shaoshan Pedestrian Bridge and the Sheraton Garden Hotel roof garden better.On this basis,this paper investicated the commonly used plant types and species in Changsha City,and listed the commonly used allocation models according to their ecological habits and ornamental characteristics.The statistical results show that there are over 1 000 species of vines in China which are belonging to more than 70 families and more than 200 genera.These plants can be comprehensively applied in the mode of evergreen + deciduous so as to achieve better afforestation effect.In addition,this paper also analyzed the different forms of the external walls of the vertical structure according to the characteristics of the recommended plant species and application.Finally,the paper analyzed the existing problems in the process of the development of the vertical afforestation in Changsha City,and put forward corresponding suggestions in view of theseissues in order to provide theoretical and practical basis for the development of vertical ecological landscape.
