The Selection And Application Research Of Landscape Plants In Chengdu Based On The Theory Of Sponge City

Remarkable achievement is obtained during the urban construction of China.However,the environmental problems become severer because of the traditional way of urban construction.The seriously damaged water ecology make cities neither can resist the flood nor can withhold water.To resolve this problem,urban administrators and industrial experts proposed the theory of sponge city.This theory has great and significant meaning which is the important way to realize the sustainable development of human society and embodies the equality and friendship between human and nature.After reading and analyzing related literatures,this paper deeply studied,elaborated and analyzed the theory of sponge city,summarized and concluded the status and role of landscape plants in the construction of sponge city,obtained the principle of plants application in the sponge city,the concrete demands of plants,and finally put forward the selecting basis of plants.Secondly,spot-surveying of Tianfu central park and Huoshui Park chengdu,sichuan province were conducted.After the analysis,the sponge measurements,especially the plants application measurements were approved reasonable and efficient.Finally,combined the above achievements,this paper proposed the suggestion of plants application and match in Chengdu,and concluded and recommended according to different varieties of plants(arbor,bush,herb)and application areas(grassed swales,low elevation greenbelt,rainwater garden,etc.).All these achievements will supply references and basis of plants selection in Chengdu future sponge city construction.
