Rolling isolation bearing,with lower resistance to motion and better effectiveness of isolation,is a kind of isolation bearing with excellent isolation performance and not affected by earthquake frequency.Rolling friction coefficient is the main factor that affects the isolation performance of isolation bearing.However,the bearing has not been widely used,because of many uncertainty factors affecting the rolling friction coefficient and the big difficulties of theoretical analysis.Therefore,the article mainly studies the rolling friction performances of rolling isolation bearings.The test method is adopted firstly,and the rolling friction performances of two kinds of rolling isolation bearings with roller and rolling ball are studied.By controlling the factors affecting rolling friction coefficient,the influences of the diameters,vertical pressures and rolling velocities of the roller and rolling ball on rolling friction coefficients are analyzed.Secondly,using SAP2000 finite element software,the paper analyzes the isolation performances of the isolation bearing of a project by comparing the structures of the isolation and seismic and studies deeply the influences of rolling friction coefficients on the isolation effect of isolation structures.The experimental study shows that the diameters and vertical pressures of the roller and rolling ball have a great influence on the rolling friction coefficients,with the regular pattern that the rolling friction coefficient decreases with the increase of the diameter and increases with the increase of the vertical pressure.The rolling velocities have little effect on the rolling friction coefficient of the isolation rolling bearing,with the result that the rolling friction coefficient decreases slightly with the increase of the rolling velocity.The software simulation shows that the isolation performance of isolation structure is different under the action of different seismic waves,but the overall isolation effect is more obvious,and the structure shows higher isolation efficiency at a higher seismic intensity.Compared with other isolation bearings with different rolling friction coefficients,the seismic response of the simulated structure is effectively controlled when the rolling friction coefficient is 0.05.
