Data archival and structural safety performance evaluation of ancient buildings has always been the main content of ancient architecture protection.In the past,the data files of ancient buildings were stored in drawings,words,pictures,etc,but these methods are independent of each other and do not establish links based on the same component or part.In addition,archival and structural performance analysis of ancient architectural information has been carried out as two separate jobs.These methods result in a large amount of data processing,vague expression of information and difficult to find and other shortcomings.Building information model(BIM)provides a new idea for solving the above problems.Based on the point cloud data,this paper combines the BIM technology with the protection work of ancient buildings.First of all,using 3D laser scanner and total station to collect data from the FoZhenSheLiYiLuoNi Tower and the Ancient Theater of Cuijiazhai,and combined with manual measurement to record the details of ancient architecture;After that,the BIM modeling software Revit is used to establish the data model;Finally,the finite element model is established based on point cloud data and building information model,and the numerical simulation is carried out to analyze the seismic performance of the structure.The main research results of this paper are as follows:(1)The point cloud data collection of ancient tower and ancient theater is completed and the point cloud model is obtained.And the BIM model of ancient buildings was established.Each "family" file also contains geometric information,physical information,damage information and so on.It realizes the integration and three-dimensional archiving of drawings,words,pictures and other information.(2)Based on the building information model of ancient tower and ancient theater,the finite element model is established.The seismic performance of the FoZhenSheLiYiLuoNi Tower and the Ancient Theater is obtained.Under the conditions of earthquake in ancient tower,the site of the tower brake is prone to damage,and in the case of seismic fortification,ancient tower is prone to damage from eight layers and above,and in the case of rare earthquake,ancient tower is prone to damage from one layer and above.The Ancient Theater infill wall is favorable for earthquake resistance,and is the first anti-seismic line for Ancient Theater;During therare earthquake,the wooden frame began to play a major role when the filling walls was destructed,and due to the connection of column base,the structural characteristics of the tenon and mortise joints between beams and columns,and wood properties,etc.So that the Ancient Theater can transmit seismic excitation and achieve good seismic energy dissipation effect.(3)The combination of archival data analysis and structural safety performance analysis of ancient buildings is realized when input the result data of structural analysis into the "family" file of the building information model.It provides reference for safety assessment of similar ancient buildings in operation and maintenance stage.
