With the rapid development of the urban construction,people's living standards continue to improve,the quality of life requirements are also rising,thecity park in people's leisure life has an important role.The city park green land has the function of improving the living environment,saving the rain and repairing the ecological environment.Different urban residents have different requirements for urban parks.Traditional urban parks pay more attention to landscape forms and entertainment functions,and ignore their own ecological functions of park green space,such city park designsaretechnically lacking of consideration.In this paper,Jiangxia Central Park of Wuhan C ity was used as the research object,and the knowledge of landscape,architecture,urban and rural planning,ecology and other disciplines were comprehensively used in the study of discuss the important role of urban park green space under the guidance of "sponge city" concept for the urban rainwater management and ecological restoration by literature collation,field planning and design,data analysis,to the main research results are as follows:(1)"Sponge city" as a comprehensive urban rainwater management control systemconstruction concept,has a significant role for the city of rainwater management and ecological environment protection.Many developed countries in foreign countries in the face of urban development process encountered in the rain and environmental problems are actively trying to adopt different methods and achieved good results.However many foreign methods have their advantages,but they cannot solve the current rainwater pollution and environmental problems completely.Based on this,this paper puts forward the planning and design method of park green space in sponge type city new area."Sponge city" concept is not only a simple rain and flood management,but the various types of the existing problems integration,solve the problem of urban surface rainwater pollution better.(2)In this paper,the "sponge city" concept and related technology were introduced in a more comprehensive way,try to apply it to the urban green area planning and design practice.In the analysis of the relevant planning and design case,pay attention to the design objectives and principles,reasonable site planning,protect and restore ecological damage area,reduce the hardening area in the site.Focus the construction of aquatic ecosystem technology and the use of sponge facilities,to achieve the effect of urban park sponge.Compared with the traditional urban park,not only the landscape effect is more natural ecology,rainwater resources and ecological environment protection and other functions are more perfect.(3)This paper studies the planning and design of the sponge city park in the planning and design practice of "Jiangxia new district central park" in Wuhan,combining with the characteristics of the site,and comprehensively using the concept of "sponge city".The whole garden design from the vertical,traffic,green plants,water supply and drainage,and many other aspects,combined with sponge-style design concepts and technology,the rational use of low impact development technology.In achieving good landscape effect and strive to achieve the resource management of rain at the same time,so that it can prevent floods caused by heavy rains and surface water pollution.The planning and design of the central park of the sponge-type urban new district has a positive effect on reducing the rainfall runoff,the rainwater purification and the construction of the water eco-environment system,which is based o n the data of the urban rainfall in Wuhan.The results of this paper show that the concept and technology of "sponge city" are of scientific significance to the planning and design of urban green space in urban area,and it can also be used as reference for the planning and design of similar city parks.
