The most important transport platform at sea is ship,and the ship power system provides energy for ship navigation.It is the dynamic guarantee of the normal operation of the ship.With the continuous development of China's shipbuilding industry,ship power system tends to be larger and more automated.At the same time,because of the worse working environment of ships,the possible types of faults and the reasons for it tend to be more complicated.The fault diagnosis of ship power system has become one of the focuses in the field of ship research.According to the above-mentioned problems,combined with the unique advantages and good development trend of the expert system,the fault diagnosis expert system of the ship power system is designed with the help of the long accumulated diagnostic experience and knowledge of the experts in this paper.This expert system can improve the efficiency and accuracy of fault diagnosis,and ensure continuity of ship operation.This paper introduces the development of expert system and focuses on fault diagnosis expert system and the application of expert system in ship power system at first.Then,it explains the structure and characteristics of ship power system and classifies the common faults of ship power system and the causes.Next the structure of the expert system and the function of each module are explained.On the basis of the fault classification,the fault tree of ship power system is constructed,and the weight of the diagnosis knowledge is determined by the fault tree analysis and the analytic hierarchy process.For the establishment of the knowledge base of the expert system,the diagnosis knowledge is described by the production rule and the semantic network,and the uncertainty of the transmission line fault diagnosis is solved by fuzzy reasoning.The knowledge base of the production expert system is established by using the database platform,and the knowledge base of the semantic web expert system is established by using Protege software.In the reasoning mechanism,the production expert system adopts forward reasoning and depth first search and breadth search strategy.The semantic web expert system uses Prolog language including matching,unification,backtracking and depth first reasoning as inference engine.Finally,the ship power system fault diagnosis software is designed by Visual Studio 2012 on Windows platform.SQL Server 2012 database platform is used to manage the knowledge base of expert system.After a series of tests,the expert system can locate various faults quickly and accurately,and give maintenance advice for staff reference.
