Under the background of rapid economic and social development in our country,the size of the growing city has followed,and the increasing number of private cars has directly led to urban traffic congestion,and even led to the embarrassing situation of some major cities in traffic.At this time,giving priority to the development of public transportation has become a hot topic of social discussion and research.The level of service of buses determines whether passengers are willing to choose buses to solve their own travel problems.Firstly,based on the analysis of engineering reliability theory,this paper describes the definition and representation of the reliability of public transportation system.This paper discusses the influencing factors of the reliability of the public transport system,defines the three components of the reliability of the public transport system,and analyzes the measures for improving the reliability of the public transport system.Discuss the basis and process for the preparation of bus schedules and select the key to the design of bus schedules.Analyze and determine the method of departure interval,discuss the forms of public transportation schedules under different combinations,and improve the reliability of the public transit system by adjusting the schedule of public transportation.Secondly,the objective function of timetable optimization is analyzed,and three reliability degrees of the public transportation system are selected as constraints.A reliability-based bus schedule optimization design model was constructed and a genetic algorithm was used to solve the model.Optimize departure intervals,determine departure schedules,and improve the reliability of public transport systems.Finally,the rationality and feasibility of the theoretical method of the paper are further verified by combining with the specific case.The calculation results of the case are analyzed and good results are obtained.
