As one of the most widely used transportatio tools,motorcycles put forward higher performance requirements for their comfort.As an important part of the suspension system,shock absorber plays a decisive role in improving the ride comfort and operational stability of the vehicle during driving.Because of China's motorcycles are basically adopted passive suspension,this results in the motorcycle not being able to balance ride comfort and operational stability during driving.This paper studies a solenoid valve damping adjustable damper and a control system based on the damper.It has important theoretical and engineering significance for improving the performance of domestic motorcycle suspension.This topic is derived from the "Study on Motorcycle Semi-active Suspension System" project of Ningbo Saifu Automobile Brake Co.,Ltd.It is mainly aimed at the current situation that the domestic motorcycle suspension system still adopts the passive suspension of the conventional damping non-adjustable shock absorber or requires manual adjustment of damping.A variable damping semi-active suspension system was developed.The main objective of this paper is to build a simulation model of solenoid valve damping variable damper based on SimulationX for motorcycle damping control system,and its performance characteristics and speed characteristic curves are simulated.At the same time,the hardware and software of the vibration reduction control system are research and analysis;Finally,through the research on the semi-active suspension control strategy,an improved control strategy based on the skyhook damping control is adopted,and based on the control strategy,the damping variable motorcycle damping control system is simulated in time and frequency domain.At the same time,the linear quadratic optimal controller is designed by the optimal control method,and the system with optimal controller is simulated and analyzed,research shows:Compared to conventional shock absorbers,solenoid valve damping variable damper can effectively reduce the amplitude and oscillation times of motorcycles and riders under different road excitations.At the same time,it can improve the driving comfort of the rider more effectively.This provides a theoretical basis for how to improve the ride comfort and handling stability of the motorcycle during driving.
