Research On The Application Of Light And Shadow Art In Architectural Space

The most touching place of architecture is the place it creates and the spiritual symbol it brings,and the art of Light and Shadow has its unique visual vocabulary,which plays an important role in architectural places and spiritual expression.Architectural Light and shadow art has both use value and aesthetic value of the dual attributes,it has been highly regarded by domestic and foreign architects since ancient times.With the development of science and technology,the popularization of computer application technology,the art of architectural light and shadow broadens its manifestation,and gradually develops into a comprehensive form integrating art and science.Therefore,in the face of the ancient and often new subject of architectural light and shadow art,we should not only pay attention to the hardware and technical aspects,but also fully excavate the artistic expression and spiritual and cultural connotations of light and shadow,so as to shape the multi-dimensional architectural space image and endow the architectural special artistic charm.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter,through the understanding of the relevant background of this topic and the analysis of the current research situation at home and abroad,this chapter establishes the research methods and research framework of this topic.The second chapter expounds the relevant theories of light and shadow art: First,it discusses the interpretation of optical and shadow,the dialectical unity of Light and shadow,the sense of space-time,orientation and literary and artistic expression,and then analyzes the emotional experience based on light and shadow,mainly from the people’s instinctive cognition of light and shadow,physical and mental experience,aesthetic perception three aspects Finally,the combination of light and shadow and color is introduced to create different architectural styles,the dynamic composition of light andshadow enriches the spatial effect,and the combination of light and shadow and science and technology enhances artistic expression.The third chapter discusses the relationship between light and shadow and architectural space: first,it introduces the use of light and shadow to shape the volume of buildings,depict the details of buildings and the performance of architectural structures,and secondly,to express the importance of light and shadow to show the nature of materials,the expression of material texture,and to explain once again the visual psychological mechanism acting on people Connecting spatial relations;Finally,light and shadow render the space atmosphere,and elevate the architectural space to a higher aesthetic level.The fourth chapter based on the author’s theoretical research on the Art of Light and shadow in architectural space,combined with the actual project,the Sino-german cultural exchange center Interior and exterior environment design practice application.
