The Charm Of Light And Shadow

Light and shadow is a very expressive element in the process of architectural design,and it is always one of the goals of a good designer to utilize and grasp the light and shadow in the space.On this basis,this paper analyzes the construction and control methods of classical design cases,and discusses the unique processing skills of modern master architects in designing light and shadow.Through literature review,case analysis and graphic analysis,the author analyzes the influence of architectural form on the changes of light and shadow in the space,and tries to discuss the relationship between light and shadow in architecture and the atmosphere of architectural space.Based on the understanding of the concepts of natural light,light and shadow,architectural space atmosphere and so on,this paper,combined with the analysis and research of excellent classic case works,elaborates the light and space,the spiritual characteristics of light,the image of light and shadow under various influencing factors and the space atmosphere it creates.Secondly,based on the relationship between light and space,this paper analyzes and summarizes four kinds of artistic expression methods of light and shadow on space atmosphere,including association,participation,time and arrangement.Finally,based on the typical and representative actual case studies,and combined with the methods summarized above,this paper proves the four types of spatial atmosphere building techniques.Taking the use of light and shadow by modern architects as the research object,this paper analyzes the design and application of light and shadow in different building types from different perspectives,mainly from two aspects: first,four techniques based on association,participation,time and arrangement.This paper discusses the influence of themes,props,scenes,activities,time,memory and sequence arrangement on the use of light and shadow to create space atmosphere,and analyzes the design advantages and influencing factors of different means to use light and shadow.This paper studies several influencing factors related to light and shadow design in space,including spatial combination,lighting components,shading components,colors and spatial interface materials,and analyzes the changes of indoor light and shadow environment brought by them.Secondly,based on the situation of meeting the needs of architectural technology and lighting,through the interpretation of the classic cases of architectural masters,this paper discusses the creation of several types of space atmosphere from different aesthetic perspectives and architectural aesthetics.In terms of general research methods and strategies,the former is the focus of design,while the latter is an important embodiment of the unity of man,architecture and nature.In addition,innovative,first of all,this paper is to analyze the physical and psychological characteristics of light and shadow,create a space atmosphere of light and shadow,created the space atmosphere of light and shadow brings influence,etc.,proposed conforms to the space use function,aesthetic and psychological needs of lighting design principles and design methods;The second is to bring light and shadow into the arrangement of space plot,making the original space structure more organic,more tensive and more appealing.It is hoped that the research can broaden the thinking mode of architectural design and interior design,deepen designers’ understanding and interpretation of light and shadow,promote the improvement of relevant theoretical system,and provide ideas and basis for broadening the light and shadow design of architecture and interior.
