In recent years,high quality curved parts have been widely used in mold,aerospace and other fields.Grinding is an indispensable part of the surface part processing.At present,the curved parts grinding mainly relies on the manpower which is time-consuming and laborious.The working environment is particularly harsh,which requires high technical requirements for workers,and it is difficult to ensure the consistency of processing and removal.The high efficiency,consistency and low cost of robotic grinding has attracted extensive attention.The subject focused on the grinding of the substrate and zirconia thermal barrier coating materials of the aero-engine expansion seals and expansion regulator and carried out related research on the automated robotic polishing technology.The main research contents are as follows:(1)The automatic robotic grinding platform of freeform surface was built,and a set of flexible grinding and polishing tool was developed.This tool can maintain constant grinding pressure based on force control,which overcomes the contradiction between rigidity and flexibility of the robot(2)The cutting process of single abrasive grain was simulated by finite element method.The influences of grinding speed and depth on grinding force,maximum temperature in grinding area were analyzed.By using ANSYS workbench,the pressure distribution of contact area under different stress conditions was established,and the pressure distribution law in contact area under different conditions was obtained.The material removal model was established based on Preston theory.(3)Based on the robot automatic grinding platform,the automatic grinding processing experiments with different process parameters were carried out.The Ra value of surface roughness and the law of section contour curve under different process parameters were analyzed.The influence law of main grinding parameters on material roughness and removal depth was studied by single factor experiments(4)On the basis of basic process test the expansion seal and expansion regulator of an aero-engine were ground.Firstly,the surface of the expansion seal and the expansion regulator substrate was ground.Then based on the orthogonal experiment,the optimal technological parameters and steps for the ground processing of the expanded seal and the expansion regulator zirconia coating was established.Finally,the overall process planning of the expansion seal and expansion regulator was completed.
