Micro-surfacing which use cold-laid construction technology,can repair all levels of the road quickly,but also can be used for road maintenance.In this paper,the author made waterborne epoxy resin by himself,Found a good performance of the curing agent to match them,and the properties of waterborne epoxy modified emulsified asPhalt and micro surfacing mixture were studied.Two kinds of epoxy resin emulsifier named R73 and RF were made in the laboratory,using these two emulsifiers produced water-based epoxy resin.Through the test of the storage stability and the particle size of the emulsion,the content of two kinds of emulsifiers was determined to be 3 0%,the standing time of the two aqueous epoxy emulsions was greater than 30 days.The intermediate particle size of the emulsion was about 4 ?m.When the solid content of the two emulsions was 50%?55%,the storage stability was the best.The two emulsions also had good acid stability,the basic stability of R73 emulsion was poor,and the basic stability of RF emulsion was good.RF emulsion centrifugal stability was better than R73 emulsion.Finally,the RF emulsion was selected as the asPhalt modifier.Epoxy-polyamine curing agent could be stabilized with waterborne epoxy resin at room temperature,and can be dried and cured in a short time.Through the pull-out test we found that The bond strength of GY curing system is about 85%higher than that of GF curing system at room temperature.Curing speed of GF curing system was faster,could curing completely within 24 hours at 35 degrees Celsius conditions.The acidic conditions of emulsified asPhalt could also have an adverse effect on the properties of the cured products,But it's not serious.With the increase of the content of waterborne epoxy system,the softening point of asPhalt increased,the penetration rate reduced,the ductility decreased and the viscosity increased.Compared with GY system modified asPhalt,the GF system modified asPhalt not only was viscosity and softening point higher,but the low temperature was also better,GF system was more suitable as asPhalt modified materials.With the increase of the content of the waterborne epoxy system,the wear resistance and water damage resistance of the micro surfacing mixture were improved obviously,when the content of the waterborne epoxy system reached 10%,the wear value of the wet wheel reached the minimum value.Waterborne epoxy system can significantly improved the resistance of micro surfacing mixture to rutting resistance,at the same time,it could improve the cohesion growth rate of the mixture.When the waterborne epoxy system content was high,it had a negative impact on the growth of the cohesion of the mixture.
