| By Based on the properties of waterborne epoxy resin with high strength,weather resistance and super adhesion,waterborne epoxy emulsified asphalt was prepared with self-made waterborne epoxy resin as modifier.The low bond strength,unstable quality,poor flexibility and poor high temperature stability of emulsified asphalt are improved.The non-ionic emulsifier was prepared by the reaction of epoxy resin E44 with PEG4000.The hydrophilic and flexible polyethylene glycol segment was introduced into epoxy resin molecule.The waterborne epoxy resin was prepared by reverse conversion method.The particle size,centrifugal stability and viscosity of the emulsion were characterized,and the optimum amount of emulsifier was determined.The film properties of the cured waterborne epoxy resin were tested.Waterborne epoxy emulsified asphalt was prepared by FM200 high shear dispersion emulsifying machine.The microstructure of the prepared asphalt was observed by fluorescence microscope,and the technological parameters under different content of waterborne epoxy resin were determined by comparative analysis of its microstructure.Storage stability test and boiling test show that waterborne epoxy emulsified asphalt has good compatibility and adhesion to aggregate.The high temperature rheological properties of the binder were characterized by dynamic shear rheometer(DSR).The results show that waterborne epoxy resin can significantly improve the high temperature stability of emulsified asphalt.The glass transition temperature(Tg)and microstructure of the binder were characterized by(DSC)and(SEM),respectively.When the content of waterborne epoxy resin increased,the Tg of binder increased gradually.The space network structure with epoxy resin as skeleton was formed.Bond surface of cement mortar specimen The flexural tests and the shear tests of L-shaped steel specimens show that the adhesive strength of waterborne epoxy emulsified asphalt on different bonding surfaces is different.When the content of waterborne epoxy resin is between 20% and 30%,the property of waterborne epoxy emulsified asphalt is the best. |
