With the rapid development of China's economy,infrastructure construction projects will be more and more,especially the construction of bridges is even more indispensable.The construction of the bridge has brought positive impacts on the economic and development of the two sides of the river,but it has also changed the navigation environment of the channel and caused certain obstacles to the navigation of the ship.The curved channel is the most common channel in China's domestic rivers.Due to the scale of curved channels and complex water flow conditions,curved river bridges are often the most frequent traffic accidents.Therefore,it is necessary to pay attention to the design of the width of the navigation hole of the curved channel.It not only relates to the safety of the bridge itself,but also affects the rational use of water resources.This paper will study the width of the navigation hole on the curved channel from the perspective of navigation safety,focusing on the influence of the curved channel water flow and the cylindrical pier on the ship motion.Based on this,the navigation hole width of the bridge is proposed.The main contents of the article include:1.The research results of the predecessors is summarized.Through statistical analysis of the water traffic accident cases in the bridge area,it is analyzed that the width of the bridge navigation hole is the main factor affecting the safe navigation of the curved channel bridge area.2.The numerical simulation of the curved water flow was carried out by Fluent,and the flow characteristics of the curved channel and the influence of the curved water flow on the navigation of the ship were studied.According to the characteristics of the water flow movement of the curve and the research basis of the predecessors,the calculation formula of the drift of the ship flow is derived.It also reveals the influence of the curve radius of the curved channel,the ship's draft,the ship's speed and other factors on the flow-induced drift.3.Through the numerical simulation,the relationship between the turbulent flow range of the curved pier and the water flow velocity,the curve radius and the diameter of the pier is analyzed.Combined with the additional value of track width,windinduced drift,flow-induced drift,and turbulent width of bridge pier,the method for determining the width of bridge navigation hole is proposed.The calculation system for the visibility of the navigation hole width of inland river bend bridge is designed by MATLAB.4.According to the characteristics of the water flow in the curved bridge area and the influence of the bridge,the countermeasures for the safe navigation of the curved channel bridge area are proposed,and the article is expanded.This paper provides a certain theoretical reference for the bridge design department and the waterway design department,which is conducive to the safety of China's domestic river navigation.
