Benefit analysis is an effective method to measure the level of project management.Through benefit analysis,the impact of new technology application in project management can be evaluated comprehensively,which can provide a reference for clarifying benefit distribution and improving benefit level.At present,the level of project management is also constantly improving.Information technology plays a very important role in the development of project management.BIM(Building Information Modeling)technology-building information model provides a new technical means and management mode for project management,which is conducive to improving work efficiency,reducing communication costs,saving construction period and construction.This is a comprehensive improvement in efficiency.At present,although some construction enterprises in China have begun or are ready to carry out pilot application of BIM technology in project management.However,in engineering practice,the application cost of BIM technology is high and difficult to make decisions.There are many functions of BIM application that are difficult to choose.Moreover,there is not a relatively complete benefit evaluation system and method,which can give a more comprehensive and scientific evaluation of the benefits after the application of BIM technology.All these factors should be considered in engineering projects.Using BIM technology to carry out project management obstacles,affecting the application and promotion of BIM technology.This paper takes the application benefit of BIM technology in project management as the starting point.Firstly,the advantages of BIM technology are analyzed,and the specific application point of BIM technology in project management is studied.The application value of BIM technology in project management is found.From this,it can be seen that the application of BIM technology can strengthen the project.The management and control of quality,cost,schedule and safety can also improve the efficiency of communication and coordination among the participating units,so that the project can obtain better benefits.After that,through extracting,analyzing and screening the benefit indicators obtained by BIM technology application in project management,ROI is selected as the evaluation index of BIM technology application benefit in project management.According to the two factors affecting ROI,two hierarchical analysis models of cost and benefit are established respectively.Using the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)to collate and calculate the survey report data,the weight vectors of the secondary indicators contained in the two factors are obtained.Then,through the method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation,the membership matrix is constructed by using five-level scoring table,and the dimension of each index of cost and benefit is unified.The theoretical cost value and theoretical benefit value of BIM technology application in project management are obtained,and then the theoretical return on investment is calculated at 11.29%,which is regarded as BIM Technology in project management.The benchmark benefit value of technical application is used as the basis for evaluating the application benefit of BIM technology in project management.The application benefit value is more than 11.29%,and the benefit is feasible.Finally,according to the comprehensive score of the income index,reasonable suggestions are given for the selection of engineering application points for the preparation and application of BIM technology in the project management of the 1 # building in the new neighbourhood.Combining with the practical application of the project,using the above theory,the cost and benefit during the project construction are analyzed and calculated,and then the project theory is analyzed and calculated.The rate of return on investment is 12.16%,which is greater than 11.29% of the benchmark benefit.It is concluded that the project has achieved the expected benefits through the application of BIM technology in project management.
