General contractor practitioners and managers as a whole process of construction of the project, the project management level determines the success of construction projects, the traditional construction general contracting project management in such aspects as management mode and management technique has many disadvantages, such as rough management mode, mode of production and management means backward, backward technology innovation and management strength, resource consumption and produce the problem such as construction waste much more. Illustrates the traditional construction general contracting project management skills and management level meets the requirement of modern construction engineering construction management. The emergence of BIM technology, for the construction general contracting project management provides a new management concept and management methods, with the application of BIM technology unceasingly mature and perfect, changed the traditional construction general contracting project management mode, mode of production and management, improve the construction general contracting project management ability, management level and technical innovation ability, reduce the construction process of construction waste, etc.Complete BIM model can simulate building construction the whole production process, and three-dimensional visualization environment to show the real construction site conditions; BIM model integration project management during all building information, all participants may by BIM platform to achieve more effective collaboration jobs. Construction general contractor as specific actors of BIM, the BIM model is transformed into the main construction unit construction entity, committed to BIM technology in construction contracting and project management in all aspects of the whole process, but it is still in the application of BIM technology continuous exploration stage.This article describes the BIM technology application research status at home and abroad, development, and analyzes the BIM technology application in the construction general contracting project management process, summarizes the BIM technology application in the construction general contracting project management value, and introduces the BIM technology in the application of the other participants. This paper choose the construction general contracting project management for the evaluation of the carrier, in BIM technology application, for evaluation objects, maturity model as the evaluation method, using the structure of the project management maturity model method, building construction general contracting project management, application of BIM technology and the relationship among the maturity model; Maturity model related theory, the establishment of general contracting of construction project management application of BIM technology maturity model, and applies BIM technology maturity is divided into five levels (initial level, cognitive level, reuse level, integration and continuous improvement) as the evaluating criteria layer; Through theoretical research and case analysis summarizes the construction general contracting project management application of BIM technology maturity of the key factors (technology layer, policy, project organization management and project management) as the evaluation factors layer; Its key indicators (hardware and software, network and the degree of localization, secondary development ability; integrated project management ability, and senior management support, the project team management, execution, policies, laws and regulations, BIM standards; the quality, schedule, cost, safety, risk, procurement, contract, communication and information, the scope and the environmental management capacity) as evaluation index layer, eventually consists of base layer, key elements and evaluation index to construct the construction general contracting project management application of BIM technology maturity evaluation index system; Using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to determine index weight. Finally based on the actual case to verify the construction general contracting project management application of BIM technology maturity model of the reliability and feasibility of implementation, determine the construction general contracting project management application of BIM technology maturity level, and put forward the construction general contracting project management application of BIM technology development suggestions.
