Construction industry is a production department specializing in civil engineering,housing construction and equipment installation,as well as engineering survey and design work.Compared with other developed countries,China's construction industry has sharp disparity in production efficiency.At the same time,there is huge waste of resources.The loss of information in construction industry is serious and people always lay emphasis on the construction cost,ignoring the value of its life cycle.From the cost control experience of manufacturing industry,the overall level of industry depends on highly streamlined and highly informationalized.With the progress and development of the society,people pay more and more attention to the use of resources.BIM technology has gradually entered the field of view of the vast number of construction practitioners and researchers.BIM is a construction project data model which integrate various related information based on a three-dimensional digital technology,to provide all kinds of basic data and analysis functions for the whole life cycle of the building project.This paper summarizes the development course of BIM technology in recent years,realizes the design of construction drawings with BIM technology and analyzes the advantages of BIM technology.This paper summarizes the advantages of BIM technology in integrated management of construction projects,and expounds the shortcomings and obstacles in the development of BIM technology.The following conclusions are drawn:In the process of design,the building information model can be modified in real time,realizing the collaborative design of all majors,reducing the error rate of information transmission,the design results are what you see,the output results are flexible and efficient,and the design efficiency is improvedThe 3d model design based on BIM technology has the reversibility,which breaks the traditional 2d design mode and improves the design cost and reduces the project cost by means of collision detection and other optimization methods.BIM technology is based on the specific data standard(IFC standard),through different software platform for sharing and integration to achieve information desk collaboration.In the application of project integration management,BIM technology has realized the unified management and time management of the whole life cycle ofthe building engineering,which plays a vital role for the improvement of the construction quality.Through the BIM technology,the material purchase is guided,the construction progress is controlled in real time,the cost of the purchase is refined,the construction efficiency is improved and the cost is reduced.Although BIM technology has great advantages in the whole construction industry,there are many obstacles in the development of our country.It is mainly manifested in five aspects: the transformation of thinking mode,the shortage of talents,the cost and management problems,the immature BIM application environment,and the technical support problem.In China,BIM technology has its broad prospects for development,and there are many obstacles to development.It is believed that with the development of science and technology and the progress of the society,BIM technology will also make a major change to the architecture.
