With the gradual expansion of the scale of the power grid construction,the maintenance task of power equipment is becoming more and more heavy,and the maintenance requirements are becoming higher and higher.Due to the limitation of power off time and the requirement of power supply reliability,live detection technology of power equipment is increasingly favored.Among them,the overhaul of power transformer equipment is the most important part of the whole power grid maintenance task,and the application of related live detection technology in power transformation maintenance has become the focus of research.The live detection technology can timely and accurately grasp the health status of the equipment without power failure,which is helpful for discovering the potential hidden dangers of the equipment in advance,and is of great significance for maintaining the safe and stable operation of the system.Some countries,represented by the United States,are also conducting in-depth research on live detection technology.In recent years,the State Grid Corporation has also been committed to the research.However,there are some limitations in the application of live detection technology to substation maintenance,and the application of technology is blind.Aiming at the limitation and blindness of live detection technology in substation overhaul.based on the actual situation of substation overhaul work in China,this paper makes a detailed theoretical analysis of the commonly used live detection methods in substation overhaul work,formulates reasonable and effective detection scheme according to the actual situation,and verifies it with a case,so as to make the application of live detection technology more pertinent and improve the efficiency of Substation overhaul work.GIS equipment,switchgear and transformer are the focus of substation maintenance.The demand for live detection technology is the highest.Therefore,this paper focuses on GIS equipment,partial discharge of switchgear and transformer faults.Firstly,it summarizes the research background and significance of this topic,and the research status of live detection technology is introduced.Secondly,according to the research of partial discharge fault of GIS equipment,the types and causes of defects of GIS equipment are introduced.Combining UHF and ultrasonic detection methods,a live detection method based on integrated acoustic and electrical GIS equipment is proposed,and the method is introduced in detail with practical cases.Thirdly,aiming at the special structure of metal enclosure of switchgear,a method of live detection for switchgear based on Magnetocaloric combination is proposed,and the method is introduced in detail with practical cases.Fourthly,aiming at the common faults of transformer,the basic principle and detection method of transformer oil chromatographic detection technology for live detection of transformer faults are studied,and the actual research and analysis of oil chromatographic method are carried out in combination with practical cases.Finally,the paper summarizes the research on the common live detection methods in substation maintenance,and makes a plan and outlook for the tasks that can be carried out in the future.Based on the research and analysis of several live detection methods of common power equipment and the actual situation of substation overhaul work in China,this paper puts forward several sets of practical and efficient live detection methods and processes,which provide a clear idea of live detection for substation overhaul work.
