The wide application of lead in the industrial field leads to the lack of leadresources.It is imperative to recycle lead resources.It is an indispensable part ofthe sustainable development strategy of lead energy,and the content of leadpaste in lead-acid batteries is 30%~40%,so for the sorting of lead paste,it ismost important to purify the lead paste in the extreme group.In the separation process of lead-acid batteries,the method of separating firstfollowed by disassembling is applied: the used batteries are separated by groups,classified and broken,and the problem of separation of lead paste and impurities after the crushing of the pole group is used,and the hydrocyclone is used as the machinery to separate the lead paste and impurities.In the research of hydrocyclone,the turbulence model of solid-liquid two-phase flow is constructed.The numerical simulation analysis technology is used to study the separation performance and the flow field analysis.The main research results of this paper are as follows:(1)According to the physical properties of lead paste and impurities and their separation requirements,to determine the parameters of the cyclone for lead paste and impurities: the volume flow rate of the feed,diameter,cone angle and feed pressure.(2)Through the numerical simulation method,the CFD solution model and the turbulence algorithm of the cyclone flow field are established.For the flow field characteristics,the Mixture multiphase flow model and the RSM turbulence model are used for numerical calculation.(3)The sensitivity analysis method is used to select the six parameters that have the greatest influence on the separation performance.The response surface method was used to test the selected parameters,and the optimization model was constructed.The optimal parameters were determined and rounded by genetic algorithm.The final separation efficiency of the cyclone reached 0.948.An experimental model of the cyclone prototype being established with a separation efficiency of 0.9398.(4)The self-contained mesh deformation module in Fluent software is used,and the Compass optimization solver is used to optimize the deformation analysis of the overflow pipe wall and change the outer structure of the overflow pipe wall,which further improves the separation performance and makes the cyclone separation efficiency reach 0.956.
