Solar energy is a clean and renewable energy source.As one of the new energy generation methods,solar power generation is not only a necessary condition for China’s energy construction,but also a demand for China’s sustainable development strategy.This paper has made an understanding and analysis of the domestic and foreign dynamics of photovoltaic power generation,and concluded that the prospects of the photovoltaic industry are very good.Therefore,the exploration of grid-connected photovoltaic power plants has great value in both theory and practice.This paper takes 20 MW photovoltaic power plant design as the research object.The solar resources and engineering geology of the area were analyzed.The area is a region rich in solar energy resources,and the annual average temperature is relatively low,which can effectively improve the efficiency of photovoltaic modules.Moreover,the geological structure in the area is relatively stable and there are no active faults in the site.The site has good geological conditions,no adverse geological influences,and the terrain is flat.After comprehensive consideration,the area is very suitable for the construction of large-scale photovoltaic power stations.Then the paper completed the design of the overall scheme of the solar power system.It covers the selection of photovoltaic components,the operation mode design of photovoltaic arrays,the selection of inverters,the design of photovoltaic arrays and layout schemes.The photovoltaic power generation system of this project is based on block power generation and centralized grid connection as the overall technical solution.The total capacity of the project in this period is 20 MW,and there are a total of 20 1MW photovoltaic power generation subsystems.Each 1MW photovoltaic power generation subsystem is composed o f two 500 k W photovoltaic power generation units,and there are 40 500 k W photovoltaic power generation units.Each photovoltaic unit system consists of a solar array and a 500 k W inverter.Each box of photovoltaic power generation subsystem is connected to a box transformer with a capacity of 1000 k VA.Every two 500 k W inverters output AC power,then increase the voltage from 0.27 k V to 35 k V through a 1000 k VA step-up transformer,and then send the output voltage to the 220 k V centralized bus station through two 35 k V collector lines,and then pass 220 k V.The line is connected to the system grid.Then the paper completed the design of electrical primary,electrical secondary and fire protection of solar power station,and also studied and discussed the equipment se lection of electrical primary and electrical secondary.This paper also calculates the annual on-grid electricity.After comprehensive consideration,the average annual power generation for 25 years is 26,270,300 degrees,and the equivalent annual utilization hours is 1289.9 hours.This paper also gives a brief overview of energy saving and consumption reduction measures and equipment cost of solar power plants.The construction of photovoltaic power stations will greatly reduce environmental pollution and achieve full utilization of renewable energy.Encouraged by national policies,the photovoltaic power generation industry should be vigorously developed in the future.
