Commemorative architecture is a commemorative form of people,s commemoration of psychological materialization.Unlike other buildings that focus on functional satisfaction,the most important function of a commemorative architecture is its commemorative,that is,emotional expression.The event-type commemorative architecture is a kind of commemorative building under the numerous branches.It is a form of materialized commemoration expressed after people,s analysis and reorganization of historical events.It is to convey people’s objective understanding of historical events.In the emotional expression of event-type commemorative architecture,the use of building materials is one of the important means of emotional expression.Building materials affect people’s psychology and mobilize people’s emotions and behaviors by acting on people’s visual,tactile and other perceptual systems.This requires the architect to fully consider the human psychological experience in the design process,and understand the great potential of building materials in emotional expression,so that event-like commemorative architecture can better meet the physiological and psychological emotional needs of people.Based on this background,this paper firstly expounds the background and research object of the paper,and then analyses the current research situation at home and abroad,so as to get the research significance and innovation of this topic.Secondly-,the author makes a theoretical study on the emotional expression of building materials.Based on the meaning of the emotional material of building materials,it analyzes the basic properties of buildin g materials and refines the theoretical basis of the basic elements of emotional expression of building materials.Then combined with the actual case to study the emotions generated in the event-type commemorative architecture,including the emotional theory existing in the event-type commemorative architecture and the building materials commonly used in different types of emotions,from several angles to analyze the event-type commemorative architecture.Emotional influence factors and expression pathways.The paper analyzes the emotional elements of different building materials,including the application of texture,color and texture in the emotional expression of event-like commemorative architecture.Finally,through the study of a large number of design practice cases,the design of building materials in the emotional expression of event-type monuments is summarized.technique.It is hoped that the research in this paper can enrich the design method of emotional expression of building materials and provide some reference value for future practice.
