With the increasing environmental pollution and the serious shortage of petroleum resources of traditional fuel vehicles,the research on electric vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles have attracted wide attention nowadays.Battery management system is the heart of electric vehicle and one of the most critical parts of automobile.It plays a key role in the service life of automobile and the safe and stable operation of automobile.In this paper,the battery model is built by simulink,and the hardware-in-the-loop simulation test for the battery management system based on NI PXI is studied.Based on the functions of the battery management system(BMS)for power lithium iron phosphate battery,the hardware-in-the-loop simulation test for battery management system(BMS)is carried out.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1.Study the structure of the battery management system,and analyze the function of each part and its overall design,and analyze the function of the battery management system.Build an accurate battery model considering temperature factor through charging and discharging test to identify parameters,and verify the battery model by working condition experiment.Finally,integrate the battery model with the vehicle model.2.Study the overall architecture design of NI PXI battery management system hardware-in-the-loop and the key technology of hardware-in-the-loop test platform for BMS,also study the hardware design and software design,as well as the selection and use of other ancillary units and related boards,BMS controller research,etc.3.Battery management system equilibrium control strategy and temperature control strategy and test case design are studied.The design and research of equalization strategy is mainly based on the specification of BMS controller,using Simulink and stateflow to design multi-inductance active equalization control strategy.The design of temperature control strategy is mainly based on charging and discharging experiments to study the design basis of temperature control strategy and to design the temperature control strategy of battery management system with simulink.The design method of hardware-in-the-loop test cases is studied,and test cases are written based on the relevant specifications of BMS controller,relevant national standards and relevant functions of BMS.4.Finally,the experiment and application of hardware-in-the-loop test platform for battery management system are studied,and specifically studied the overall test flow of hardware-in-the-loop simulation test.According to the test cases,the hardware-in-the-loop test of the security performance and communication function of battery management system is carried out,and the test results are analyzed and studied.Through the verification of the hardware-in-the-loop test for the battery management system,it can be concluded that the hardware-in-the-loop simulation test platform of the battery management system can accurately and comprehensively test and test the functions of BMS,and can greatly improve the reliability,stability and overall performance of BMS products.
