In recent years,with the environmental pollution and energy crisis,energy saving and environmental protection has continued to be brought public.In the rapid development automotive field,energy consumption and emission pollution become limited factor of fuel vehicles,so to promote new energy vehicles is imperative.As one of the three core technology in new energy vehicles,battery management system(BMS)is not only a breakthrough technology but also a bottlenecks,so research of BMS becomes particularly important.Hardware in the loop simulation test is an important part of BMS's development,and is of great significance.This paper focuses on the hardware in the loop simulation test system of BMS.Characteristics of battery,simulation ECU's hardware design(including the power supply circuit,CAN interface circuit,analog circuit,switch signal circuit and the PWM signal,etc.),simulation ECU's software design(including software model,CAN communication,PC interface)has been conducted in-depth study of the theory and design,and use that in integrity functional test,stress test and fault injection test,etc.Specific content were as follows:(?)physical parameters and performance parameters of cylindrical NIMH battery were analyzed,and a large number of charge and discharge test conducted to get the battery charge and discharge characteristics.(?)through the analysis of the needs of the target BMS,resources of simulation ECU hardware and software,the CAN communication interface and protocol,monitoring interface and data processing,the overall program is provide,that was a theoretical basis for the next step.(?)According to the analysis of digital and analog signals from measured BMS,simulation ECU's hardware circuit of all signal modules,power supply circuit and the CAN interface circuit are designed,and the hardware design of the hardware in the loop system was completed with taking EMC into account.(?)Through analysis of the battery's characteristics and models,the NI-MH battery model under high-power charge-discharge conditions was completed.According to the CAN communication interface and protocol,the simulation ECU,target BMS and upper computer were communicated.Upper computer based on LabVIEW satisfied the various needs of signal acquisition and real-time processing basically in tests.(?)The self-developed DHIL was used in integrity functional test,limit test and fault injection test of pre-simulation test and post-simulation validate reliability by injection real vehicle data into DHIL.Tests shows that pre-simulation verify the strategy integrity of BMS and post-simulation promote the industrialization and prepare for version upgrade.
