The Yangtze River Economic Zone,which spans three major regions in the east,middle and west of China,plays an important role in the overall pattern of regional development.The navigation of the Three Gorges Lock has made great contributions to the economic and social development of the upper and middle reaches of the Yangtze River.However,with the rapid social and economic development in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River,the demand for freight through the lock is growing rapidly,and the problem of inadequate capacity of the Three Gorges Ship Lock is gradually emerging.Therefore,it is particularly necessary to discuss how to solve the problem of inadequate navigation capacity of the Three Gorges Lock.Aiming at the impact of the Three Gorges Lock on the Yangtze River shipping,this paper makes a thorough and systematic study,and then carries out the capacity tapping of the Three Gorges Lock.Based on the national key research and development project "Navigation Building Construction and Upgrading Technology of Major Water Conservancy Hubs",this paper mainly carries out the following research:(1)By introducing the background and significance of improving the throughput of the Three Gorges Lock,this paper analyses the present situation and research achievements of the research on the throughput of the lock at home and abroad.It is concluded that further research is needed in the evaluation of lock capacity in China.The characteristics of each influencing factor of lock passage capacity are described in detail,and the overall framework of influencing factors of lock passage capacity is constructed.The connotation of each factor is elaborated in detail.(2)Several commonly used evaluation methods are discussed.Finally,the combination of AHP and Delphi method is used to comprehensively evaluate the ship's ability to pass through.The basic principles and steps of AHP are introduced,and the framework system about influencing factors restricting the development of ship lock capacity is constructed.On the basis of collecting expert questionnaires,the judgment matrix is constructed and the survey data is processed.The influence degree of each influencing factor,namely the weight of each influencing factor,is obtained through the analysis.(3)According to the research on the calculation of ship lock capacity,thecalculation formula of the locks' carrying capacity in the design code is proposed.A calculation method based on the upstream and downstream navigable water level and the water depth of the ship's gate is proposed to correct the passing capacity of the first ship lock.The dynamic management of ship's annual stowage transportation and lock operation is put forward.Through the calculation and analysis of an example,the method can effectively improve the capacity of the lock.(4)Based on the perspective of ship lock,ship and management,the measures and methods to improve the capacity of the Three Gorges ship lock are discussed.Mainly reflected in the following aspects:Improve the development level of comprehensive transportation in the Three Gorges Dam area;Establishing ship lock optimization scheduling system;Improve the ship's actual load rate;Reasonable develop the Ship Types Over Locks;Time-division Ship Carriage;Improve the management level of ship locks;Establish an intelligent management system,etc.
