As an important section of Flight Simulator,Control Loading system provides force feeling to pilots,and accurate and real-time force feeling can help pilots to judge the flight status of the aircraft,and then issuing the correct control instruction based on the flight status of the aircraft.Consequently,the performance of the Control Loading system directly determines the force feeling simulation effect and indirectly affects the quality evaluation of the flight simulator.This project is based on the ”General Aviation Ground Flight Simulator Technology Platform Construction” project of Shanxi Province's key discipline construction project declared by the School of Mechanical Engineering of North University of China,Committed to develop a high-performance Electric Control Loading system.The main task is to solve the problems of software and hardware design,some major component selection,system modeling and force control strategy in the development process of the Electric Control Loading system.The performance and control strategy of the force servo based Electric Control Loading system are simulated and experimentally verified.An Electric Control Loading system based on force servo loading system is designed.The stick force-stick displacement model,the mathematical model of each part of Electric Control Loading system and the unite simulation model are established for simulation and experimental research.The performance of Electric Control Loading system without controller and with PID controller are simulated.In order to verify the reliability of the simulation results,the force control experimental of Electric Control Loading system without controller and with PID controller are maked on the experimental platform.The experimental results show that the force control effect of the system is not ideal enough,and the force control characteristic curve obtained by the experiment has a certain dead zone range.Aiming at the unsatisfactory force tracking effect and the dead zone problem of the force control characteristic curve,the BP neural network based intelligent PID control method is used tosolve the problem.The intelligent PID controller based on BP neural network is designed,and the effectiveness of this method is verified on the experimental platform of Electric Control Loading system.Experiments show that the system can achieve fast and accurate control of the force,and the dead zone problem can be solved.
