The improvement of submarine protection technology and performance puts forward higher requirements for anti-submarine weapon.It is an urgent problem to improve the damage ability of torpedo warhead to submarine multi-hull and multi-cabin structure.The underwater explosion shock wave,bubble pulsation pressure,EFP penetration and static water pressure were considered in this paper,The aim is to enhance the damage effect of torpedo warhead on submarine double shell.In this paper,a series structure warhead which can increase the size of the pit,the size of the hole and the strength of the shell is presented.In the case of great damage to submarine double shell structure and great decrease of compressive strength,the high hydrostatic pressure will greatly increase the possibility of collapse of the damaged shell.In this study,the corresponding simulation work was carried out by using AUTODYN and ABAQUS software.Firstly,the relevant simulation model parameters were determined by the underwater explosion theory,EFP molding theory and the actual size of submarine and torpedo warhead.Then,the rationality of the simulation parameter setting was verified by the relevant theory and previous relevant experimental data.In addition to verifying the rationality of simulation parameters,the influence of relevant warhead parameters and water depth on submarine shell damage ability was analyzed,and the damage effect of blasting warhead,shaped charge warhead and shaped charge and blasting tandem warhead on submarine double shell was studied.The nonlinear buckling analysis algorithm and explicit dynamic algorithm of ABAQUS software were used to calculate the influence of the size of the holes and pits on the compressive strength of the ring-rib cylindrical shell,and the failure process of the water-bearing spacer target under the combined action of the explosion-formed projectile,shock wave,bubble pulsation and hydrostatic pressure was calculated by using the AUTODYN finite element algorithm.By using AUTODYN two-dimensional finite element analysis,the explosion calculation under spherical charge is carried out.The error between the simulation results and the Cole empirical formula is within the acceptable range.It is believed that the calculation of underwater ex plosion by AUTODYN two-dimensional finite element analysis has a high calculation accuracy,and the simulation method and parameter setting have a certain credibility.The results show that the multi-layer shell structure of submarine under the damage effect of shaped charge mainly produces the small size shear perforation formed by EFP penetration and the tearing effect of perforation caused by explosion impact and bubble pulsating,as well as the vertical tensile tearing and large area plastic deformation of the structure.The existence of pits and holes will reduce the compressive strength of annular rib cylinder.When both exist,pits are the main factor causing residual compressive strength of cylindrical shell.The increase of water depth will reduce the penetration ability of EFP,but increase the local deflection deformation of submarine structure under the action of underwater explosion.The reliability of SPH-FEM simulation method is verified by comparing the numerical simulation results with the experimental results of composite target structure damage.The simulation results show that the degree of damage to the pressure-resistant hull caused by the three types of warhead,namely,blasting warhead,energy-accumulating warhead and tandem warhead,increases in turn,and the residual pressure-resistant strength of the pressure-resistant hull decreases in turn.So,to study and put forward a kind of ability to cause greater pressure shell pits of crevasse and charge structure,blasting secondary tandem warhead can use poly-cause bigger to the submarine pressure hull breach and potholes,increase of internal structure damage at the same time,greatly reduce the compressive strength of pressure shell,improved its crushing by high water potential.This paper provides a reference for the design of anti-submarine torpedo warhead and submarine protection structure,and provides some help for the research in related fields.
