In-Trail Procedure(ITP)is mainly applied to aircraft equipped with appropriate ADS-B IN equipment to implement flight level changes(FL)that could not be implemented before the minimum program interval IN the ocean and remote areas without radar coverage.Peripheral aircraft provide improved traffic information to aircraft equipped with ADS-B IN equipment,allowing ITP maneuvers to be implemented to reduce the minimum safety gap.ADS-B IN can provide better and more efficient monitoring services than traditional monitoring methods(such as primary radar and secondary radar).IN this paper,the following work is mainly done for ITP operation under ADS-B IN monitoring conditions.This paper introduces the basic working principle of ADS-B IN,further elaborates some typical applications of ADS-B IN monitoring,and gives a brief introduction to the function and operation mode of ITP.This paper analyzes the data quality requirements of ITP application,conducts in-depth research on the two important parameters of navigation position accuracy and integrity,and conducts simulation calculation on them.It is concluded that the data quality requirements of ITP operation can still be met when only GPS navigation source is used.ITP use ADS-B IN equipment to receive the horizontal position,vertical height,horizontal velocity,vertical velocity and other information sent by Reference aircrafts.Combined with the relevant data of its own aircrafts,ITP calculates the position of Reference aircrafts relative to its own aircrafts.Moreover,it can analyze and judge whether the current ITP operation condition meets the ITP operation requirements in real time.For the above functions,this paper has completed the establishment and implementation of the relevant calculation process in the ITP application process.And based on the implemented functions,a detection method of ITP conflicts is proposed,which can detect whether ITP conflicts will occur in the whole process of ITP operation.The simulation results show that the ITP collision detection method is effective.Finally,the collision risk model is established for ITP operation,and the probability density curve of the actual relative position between two aircrafts is obtained by considering the factors affecting the actual positioning error during ITP operation,so as to calculate the collision probability and analyze and verify the safety of the ITP application interval.
