The Zhengzhou Locomotive Depot is a railway section that focuses on comprehensive tasks of the railway passenger?cargo transportation?locomotive maintenance and locomotive preparation.There are a total of 7 freight locomotive transportation routes,which mainly concentrated on the main railways such as Longhai?Jingguang?Beijing-Kowloon and Xinyue.Beside a very few unloading trains,more than 95 % of freight trains are drew by 130 HXD1 B electric locomotives.The Longhai,Jingguang and Beijing-Kowloon railway lines are busy railway lines.The HXD1 B electric locomotive runs with the conditions of heavy loading,long running kilometers and complex track lines.These factors make the running environment of the locomotive poor,and make it easy to damage.The main damages are the running bearings failure and tread stripping failure.In order to reduce the damage of the running gear of HXD1 B locomotive,the potential failure is prevented in advance,and the failure of the running gear of the HXD1 B locomotive is studied here.Firstly,through the statistical analysis of the quality problems of the running gear that had occurred since the use of the HXD1 B electric locomotive,it is found that the failure of the bearing part and the pull-to-tread stripping are the most critical fault points and the most fault points.Respectively,the developing trend and changing law of these faults were analyzed.Then,combining with the investigation and study of the lines such as Longhai,Jingguang and Beijing-Kowloonand Xinyue lines,the influence on the running gear of the HXD1 B locomotive was analyzed,then the main reasons for these failures were found out.On this basis,in order to reduce the failure rate of the HXD1 B locomotive,the following rectification measures were mainly proposed and adopted: For the impact of the running line on the quality of the locomotive's running part,the locomotive was adjusted on different route timely to improve wheel-rail relations;Exploring and formulating the standard of lifting wheelset detection of the HXD1 B locomotive,lifting wheelset detection was included in the repairing process of the HXD1 B locomotive bearing;The quality of data analysis was improved by various analysis system,and the potential trouble of bearing was found in time.The sand-scattering device of HXD1 B locomotive was reformed to improve the sand-scattering effect of the sand-scattering device,which increased the adhesion coefficient of the locomotive,and reduced the occurrence of wheel-pair stripping.In addition,doing a good job in bearing lubrication and preventing bearing electrical erosionfault could reduce thebearing fault too.Through the above research and analysis,many measures were taken to rectify the failure of the walking part.The failures of the tread stripping and bearing alarm were significant reduced,and the quality of the running gear was improved.At last the safe use of the locomotive was ensured.
