Improving the operational stability and high efficiency of Gas boiler combustion chamber is very important,since there is a large amount of flammable and explosive fuels in the boiler furnace for combustion reaction.The combustion reaction in the furnace is so intense that it is difficult to measure and monitor the gas flow,temperature and chemical reaction in the furnace.Therefore,the enhancement of operational stability and high efficiency for Gas boiler combustion chamber have attracted extensive attention from researchers.In recent years,with the development of computing technology,it is possible to use Fluent software to conduct numerical simulation of actual working conditions.In this paper,the Fluent software is carried out to numerically simulate the temperature field and flow field in a new type gas boiler furnace.On the basis of simulation,some boundary conditions and parameters of the furnace are adjusted appropriately,which makes the boiler run better.In present research,we numerically simulate a 35 MW gas boiler,the three-dimensional size of furnace is 4.0 * 4.0 * 9.0 meters.The distribution of flow field and temperature field is carefully investigated by varying the equivalent diameters of fuel inlets inside the furnace.The analyses of pollutant emission can indicate that the gas boiler is of optimal combustion condition as the equivalent diameter of fuel inlets is 1.0 meter.In addition,the operation of gas boiler is simulated under different air excess coefficients,finding that the excess coefficient plays a crucial role in combustion of CO.It concludes that the optimal combustion state in furnace is optimal when the air excess coefficient is set to 1.2.According to the experimental parameters of 58 MW gas boiler,the numerically simulation calculation has been carried out to investigate the distribution of flaw and temperature field in furnace with the different flow velocities of the fuel.When the boiler is running,the flow velocity of the fuel required to enter the furnace can cause disturbances in the furnace,which is beneficial to the heat transfer.Meanwhile,we must ensure the appropriate disturbances,so as to keep the stable combustion of the furnace.Through the numerically simulation calculation,the optimum combustion condition inside furnace is obtained when the equivalent diameter of fuel inlet is 0.92 meter and the flow velocity of the fuel is 30 m/s.The investigation of numerically simulation calculation is helpful for the researchers to improve the performance of gas boiler,motivating the research for gas boiler.Our present work offers important guiding significant to tune and optimize the combustion state in furnace.
