The rise of "Boutique Inn" benefited from the developing economy in China.Whit the Increasing quality of life,more and more People in well-off family prefer to pay for a cultural journey as an entertainment style.They have higher aesthetic and love to feel the local folk custom in the trip.Inns whit cultural features always become their first choice as the lodging.Focus on the space design of boutique inn,under the background on XiZhou,Yunnan province,This paper attempt to research the method to design regional culture space which in keeping whit the requirements of modern inns.Above all,the paper sorts out regional features and cultural background of XiZhou,Dali,generalizes design elements.Next,the principles and methods of boutique inn space design are brought forward based on XiZhou background.At the same time,by collecting the successful experience by field research and cases analysis.This paper makes a deepen understanding about boutique inn space design.Finally,combining existing knowledge,taking the renovation plan of an old structure in XiZhou,Dali as an example,The paper explores the possibility of boutique inn space design in specific regional culture.
