Now,it is most often found that hydraulic engineering and landscape architecture engineering are linked together.Some hydraulic engineering departments just typically focus on flood control criterion,anti-scourability of materials,slope stability and investment amounts,completing projects with simple and safe structure,but ignoring ecosystem and landscape.However,some landscape departments only pay attention to the landscaping and greenery,not ensuring the flood control safety.So,it's a common problem posed in front of water conservancy workers and landscaping workers that how to reasonably integrate hydraulic engineering and landscape architecture engineering in one project.In the recent years,although there are some engineering projects about the eco-landscape river levee protection,most of them are summarized from particular regions projects,not possessing universal applicability.Owing to the narrow river channel,the steep river gradient and the serious river scouring,the medium and small river flood in Liaoning Province is serious,and the river levee protection is the highest priority of river regulation project.In addition,they are not completely applicable to Liaoning Province located in Northeast China in arrangement and structure form.Meanwhile,with obvious difference between various river levee protection structures,there is a non-existent structure possessing higher anti-scourability,graceful landscape effect,best ecological effects,non-blocking water,small occupation of land and low grade of investment.Designers usually compare no more than three methods,and then choosing the relatively better one,which lacking some factors,so it is hard to find the most appropriate structure according with the river's characteristics.This paper does research on the protection technology of eco-landscape levee at medium and small rivers in Liaoning Province by using theoretical analysis,experience summary and typical designs to analyze construction conditions,summarize the types' characteristics and build synthetic evaluation model.According to the research,XingCheng River as a typical case has successfully passed the expert review of technical review center in Liaoning province in December 2014.The research creates a new way of thinking in eco-landscape renovation at medium and small rivers in Liaoning Province.Meanwhile,it will provide the reference for optimizing the planning and design system.Besides,it will provide lessons for medium and small rivers regulation and ecological landscape construction from Liaoning province to northern China.So,the research results have important significance and value.
