Evaluation And Research On Construction Competitiveness Of Medium-sized And Small Cities In Liaoning Province

As the pillar industry of China's national economy,construction industry is significant to the development of the national economy and social employment.In the past 30 years,with the swift sustainable development on the construction industry of Liaoning province,the technical equipment,quality control and business administration has get promoted.And the constructing assignment of national key project,urban infrastructure,urban and rural housing has been better accomplish,which makes significant contribution to the swift sustainable development of the national economy,the change of big and medium cities image and the improvement of people's living conditions.How to increase competitiveness of construction industry and better promote the sound and steady development of construction industry of Liaoning province will help implement the development strategy of rejuvenating the northeast.Unbalanced regional development exists in the construction industry.Relative to large cities and developed area,the study on construction competitiveness of medium-sized and small cities is more practical.The study takes medium-sized and small cities in Liaoning province as the research object.Based on the existing research results,the existing problem of constuction industry of medium-sized and small cities is analyzed.The analytical model and evaluation index system of construction competitiveness applicable to medium-sized and small cities is established.And the construction competitiveness of medium-sized and small cities in Liaoning province is analyzed and evaluated.And the effect of medium-sized and small cities on promoting the overall construction competitiveness of Liaoning province is highlighted.Then from the point to the area,the ultimate objective is to promote overall construction competitiveness of Liaoning province.In this paper,10 sample cities are selected,wich ware analyzed by the factor analysis methods,cluster analysis methods and shift-share analysis methods.The universal evaluation index system is first established,then the systemic analysis method on evaluating the construction competitiveness of medium-sized and small cities in Liaoning province is obtained.The main research contents and achievements are as follows.(1)The competitiveness model,influencing mechanism and promoting approach of construction industry are reviewed,then the related construction data of medium-sized and small cities in Liaoning province is collected.(2)The influence factors of construction competitiveness are analyzed,and the analytical model and evaluation index system of construction competitiveness applicable to medium-sized and small cities is established.(3)The construction competitiveness of medium-sized and small cities in Liaoning province is studied empirically by the factor analysis methods,cluster analysis methods,and the shift-share analysis methods is used for the complementary study.(4)Based on the analysis results of construction competitiveness of these samples selected,the advices and countermeasures are presented to promote the construction competitiveness of medium-sized and small cities in Liaoning province.In summary,the construction competitiveness of medium-sized and small cities in Liaoning province is analyzed and evaluated.Based on the present research,a new mothed for improving the construction competitiveness of medium-sized and small cities in Liaoning province or other analogous areas can be considered.
