Research On Urban Waterfront Landscape Design Based On Resilient Landscapes

The acceleration of urbanization intensifies the contradictions between city and natural environment.To cope with the contradictions,the concept of resilient landscape should be more widely accepted.The resilient landscape means that landscapes can adapt with the change of natural environment without manual intervention which realizes a harmony between human being and nature.And urban waterfront landscape plays an important role in that relationship by maintaining urban ecosystem stable,enhancing the enhance the cities capability of disaster response,ensuring city ecosystem health.Basing on the researches of the concept,connotation and advantages of resilient landscape and the researches of the scope,constituent and challenges of urban waterfront landscape,this dissertation proposes the urban waterfront landscape design strategies and procedures from the perspective of resilient landscape,aiming to accelerate the fusion of cultural landscape and natural environment while improve the resiliences of urban ecosystem,sociality,culture,economy.The main research object in this dissertation is the urban waterfront landscape design in Fushun County,Sichuan Province.The objective of researches is to explore how resilient landscape guide the urban waterfront landscape design through concrete analysis and design practice.The research result could be more applicable for the future changes of cities and society with deeper researches and more reasonable landscape design.To realize that result,the combination and mutual promotion of theory and practice are necessary.
