Urban Waterfront Landscape Planning Based On Ecological Restoration

The urban waterfront is the richest region of natural resources and biodiversity，It is notonly carries the city life, shaping the urban ecological environment, but also the heritage ofurban water culture. Along with the rapid development of the city, the ecological environmentdestruction, the phenomenon of cultural imbalance lead to the Urban Waterfront ecosystemsustainable development facing a major threat. Therefore, take the ecology, restorationecology, landscape ecology as the theory to explore the urban landscape planning and designof the coordinated development of strategies and methods to restore and rebuild the citywaterfront natural environment, to ensure that the balance of ecosystems and it is of greatsignificance for the sustainable development of the urban waterfront.The article is base of ecological restoration, propose the waterfront landscape planningstrategies and design methods after analyzing and researching the case of the urban waterfrontof ecosystem structure, flora and fauna, land and water ecotone culture at home and abroad.The main research contents in this article are as follows:Firstly，research the urban waterfront ecosystem structure and waterfront ecologicalrecovery theory,provides a theoretical support for the ecological restoration technology.Secondly，analysis and research on ecological restoration instance at home and abroad,summed up the experience in the ecological restoration and learn from the problems oflandscape planning and construction, looking for its internal rules and general method.Thirdly，According to the research results, proposed the construction of urban waterfrontlandscape planning and strategy based on ecological restoration from the view ofcomprehensive functions of the urban waterfront.Fourthly，On the basis of establishing a stable and sustainable development of the urbanwaterfront, proposed to improve the aquatic environment, the protection of habitat space torestore the waterfront wetlands, building a multi-functional ecological revetment, to build awaterfront greenway and revival historical and cultural landscape as the goal of urbanWaterfront Landscape Planning and Design.Fifthly，Take the case of Wei River to verify the rationality of the method of the urban waterfront landscape planning，and make some suggestions of future development of China’surban waterfront landscape planning.
