| Village,as an important part of China's historical and cultural heritage,is an indispensable actual material for exploring the history and civilization of our country.It contains rich historical relics and cultural connotations.Villages are the basic units for the development of towns and cities.These villages,whose treasure left unrecognized,was scattered on the motherland and built a profound cultural heritage for thousands of years together with other tangible and intangible cultural heritages.With its distinctive regional and national character,the village has become an essential element that reflecting and constituting cultural diversity.Zhangdian village is located in jiaxian county,henan province.Relying on local special natural conditions,the village has developed into a family village after thousands of years.As the hometown of Zhang Liang,it has been a bureaucratic home and ceremonial hometown with filial piety and humanity since ancient times.Since 2006,zhangdian village has been attached great importance to by the government.In 2008 and 2012,it was awarded the "historical and cultural village" and "the first batch of traditional villages in China" by the ministry of housing and urban-rural development of China and the state administration of cultural heritage.Nowadays,with the accelerated development of urbanization,The young and middle-age people choose to be out for work,which left numerous houses stand idle,the village loses its vitality,and agriculture and economic develop slowly.Gradually,the traditional villages became a “hollow village”.Material cultural heritages with regional cultural characteristics,such as traditional folk houses and landscapes,are constantly being destroyed and need to be protected.As for the current situation of zhangdian village,there is no relevant research on the regionalism,protection and renewal of the village in the academic circle.This paper first studies the history and culture,spatial form,and residential construction of zhangdian village,and then puts forward relevant strategies for the protection of traditional village features,the renewal of village texture,and other aspects.Zhangdian Village inherits our traditional concept of Feng Shui in the selecting the location of village,through fully combining the unique local terrain,the location of Zhangdian Village and Maanshan form a magnificent geomantic treasure land.In the process of village formation,The local villagers are adept at utilizing the local red stone,wood,loess,bricks and etc.Based on its local conditions and materials,it forms a traditional village landscape with regional characteristics.The entire village is built near the mountain where people and nature live in harmony.These traditional residential buildings' courtyard components,architectural forms,structural details,construction techniques,and material characteristics have local characteristics and are suitable for the local environment and can be retained forever.In the process of constant development of the village,the ancestors' life wisdom is can be found in every corner of the village,the location,the construction of residential houses,the selection of building materials and even the decorative patterns of the buildings.Hence,the inheritance and protection for the wisdom of our ancestors will add new methods and ideas for the construction and development of future villages.This paper analyzes and summarizes the historical culture of the village and the characteristics of the village dwellings,aiming at deeply exploring and expressing the regional characteristics of zhangdian village,proposing protection ideas in view of the current situation,and making basic research for inheriting and developing the material and intangible cultural heritage of zhangdian village.The paper also hopes to provide a guiding role for the investigation and research on jia county traditional villages which need to be studied urgently and provide a strong support for the development of traditional villages in the future. |
