Study On The Creation Of Place Spirit In The Design Of Rural Homestay

With rural tourism prosperity supporting by the rural construction policy,and the transformation of travel demand of urban people yearning rural areas,the boom in rural homestays has begun over the country.Because of the late start of homestays in the mainland of China.the relevant theoretical research cannot keep up with the actual construction speed,producing many problems such as unclear positioning,lack of local characteristics and cultural deposits,and neglect of the connection and transition betxveen homestays and the rural environment.At the same time,since the reform and opening up,the problem of population loss in China’s rural areas has become increasingly serious.and the continuous one-way flow of rural human resources to cities has caused the idle and waste of various resources in rural areas.This situation also reflects the absence of place spirit in rural areas.Focusing on the above problems,it is of great significance to introduce the place spirit into the design of rural homestays.The paper takes the domestic rural holestay as the main research object,and takes the place spirit,the core theor:of architectural phenomenology,as the theoretical basis.Through the in-depth analysis of the problems in the design of domestic rural homestay,the importance of place spirit in the design of rural homestay is illustrated.Based on the analysis and interpretation of the place spirit of rural homestay and its influencing factors,the creating strategies of the place spirit of rural homestay are proposed,which is characterized by the coexistence of "commonness" and "individuality",and the coexistence of "history" and"modernity".On this basis,from the natural environment influencing factors,cultural environment influencing factors and man-made environment influencing factors,the detail methods of creating the place spirit in the design of rural homestay are given.Finally,the research results are applied to the actual design of Zijing-guan homestay project.The scenery is guided into the house employing the local beautiful natural environment,and the local historical and cultural resources and humanistic spirit are symbolized and abstractly integrated into the interior decoration,thereby the place spirit with coexist of nature,cultural,history and modernity is embodied.
