The Study Of Optimization Of Leisure Space For The Elderly In Urban Community Based On SNA

At present,the aging of the population has become a severe social problem in China.The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out: "Actively respond to the aging of the population and build a policy system and social environment of supporting,showing filial piety and respect for the elderly",and require all sectors of society to actively respond to the aging problem.Leisure has become the main way of life for the elderly.Participation in leisure activities can help the elderly to eliminate negative emotions and improve their subjective well-being and it is of great significance to improve the quality of life of the elderly and realize healthy aging in China.However,the design of traditional residential areas in China is generally based on the consideration of adult society.The planning and design of leisure space seldom takes the needs of the elderly groups into account and can not meet the needs of daily leisure activities of the elderly.Traditional planning and design of leisure space for the elderly mostly focuses on the space attributes,but seldom considers the network structural characteristics of the overall layout of leisure space.Social network analysis has become a new paradigm of spatial relationship research because of its unique advantages of globalization,quantification and visualization.Therefore,this paper used the social network analysis to select the typical communities in Suzhou,constructed the leisure space network of the elderly in the community,and analyzed its network characteristics and the relationship between the layout of the community leisure space and the leisure activities of the elderly.Then this paper put forward some strategies of optimizing and upgrading the elderly leisure space in urban communities in order to improve the quality of community leisure space and meet the needs of daily leisure activities of the elderly,which can also provide reference for the current Community renewal and future community design practice.The main research contents of this paper are divided into the following aspects:Firstly,this paper defined the concepts of urban community,leisure activity,leisure space and social network analysis to determine the research object.And systematically combing the research progress of leisure activities for the elderly in different disciplines and the research and application progress of social network analysis in order to determine the necessity and rationality of the research object and method of this paper.Secondly,this paper established a leisure space network model for the elderly in urban communities from the perspective of elderly people’s walking according to the principle of social network analysis.And determined the network analysis dimensions such as network completeness,integration and relevance and the calculating methods and meanings of some network parameters which reflect the network characteristics such as the network "density","center degree between nodes" and "clustering coefficient".Thirdly,this paper selected the typical communities in Suzhou as research samples,and established leisure space network for network analysis by field research.The results showed that the overall completeness,integration and relevance of the leisure space network for the elderly in urban communities were low,and the overall layout of public space can not make the elderly carry out leisure activities conveniently.The main reasons for the unreasonable layout of leisure space for the elderly in urban communities are the insufficient quantity,unreasonable layout and low walking accessibility of leisure space and so on.Fourthly,this paper analyzed the relationship between elderly leisure behavior and community leisure space network layout Then analyzed and summarized the characteristics of leisure activities of the elderly through questionnaires and interviews.The results showed that morning and afternoon are the most concentrated time for leisure activities;the type and content of leisure activities of the elderly are relatively monotonous;the leisure activities of the elderly are generally concentrated in community-level leisure space;“distance from home” is the most important reason for the elderly to choose leisure activities sites.And then analyzed the correlation between leisure behavior of the elderly and the layout of leisure space network through Spearman correlation coefficient method based on the above network analysis results and the data of leisure behavior characteristics of the elderly.The results showed that the leisure behavior of the elderly is moderately correlated with the layout of leisure space.Finally,this paper put forward some strategies from the perspective of optimizing the network structure of leisure space for the elderly,such as rational allocation of leisure space for the elderly in order to improve the network completeness,optimizing the level and layout of leisure space for the elderly in order to improve the network integration,and strengthening the connection between leisure space for the elderly in order to improve the network relevancy.This paper also put forward some strategies from the perspective of promoting the agglomeration of leisure space for the elderly,such as optimizing the function and quality of network core leisure space node;improving the utilization efficiency of network edge leisure space node;creating safe,barrier-free and easily identifiable space for activities,and improving leisure facilities for the elderly.
