In recent years, the phenomenon of population aging has not only become more prominent in China, but also has shown a trend of increasing year by year in all countries in the world. This severe social problem has greatly affected our population and social structure and restricted our economic development.According to actual surveys,middle-aged and elderly people in our country are more inclined to provide home-based care, and residents are the basic components of the community. Therefore, the system and environmental design of community care for the elderly are crucial to the cause of old-age care.In China, almost all colleges and universities in cities have their affiliated communities, but currently there are few affiliated communities that really incorporate elderly care environment design, and there is a serious problem of separation of theory and design. This article takes the community affiliated to Tangshan Research Institute of Beijing Jiaotong University as an example.Based on the survey analysis,it uses literature research, case analysis, field research, interdisciplinary research, and deductive analysis to conduct a comprehensive study of its retirement environment.Road, landscape, public facilities and space, etc.,put forward reasonable suggestions for aging transformation, organically combine theoretical research and conceptual design, and draw on excellent domestic and foreign elder care community design cases to establish a college elder care suitable for the elderly in our country.Communities,in which the elderly can get multiple satisfactions of health care, spiritual pleasure, and cultural improvement,so as to reduce the pressure of the family and society on the issue of old-age care.
