With the continuous development of the society,the escalator has become more and more widely used in life.It has been favored by the public for its convenience,speed and comfort.It has become an indispensable means of transportation in large shopping malls,stations,airports and so on,greatly alleviating the crowding problem in crowded gathering places and increasing the flow of people.Especially in the rail transit system,escalators have become means of transportation most commonly used.However,with the wide use of escalators,especially in recent years,their safety problems have become increasingly prominent.Frequent safety incidents have a great impact on social stability and have become one of the urgent problems to be solved.The reliability maintenance of the escalator,especially the research of escalator step chain deterioration,and the real-time grasp of the health of the step chain have great significance for preventing safety accidents.However,there are not many researches on the degradation law of escalator step chain,and most of the research on chain drive is based on experimental platform,which requires more materials,takes a long time,and the reliability of the results is difficult to determine.There are usually breakdown maintenance and periodic maintenance for escalator now.To make up the shortfall of current research methods,in this thesis,the deterioration fault state of escalator step chain are studied based on SIMPACK simulation.The degradation type and degree of the step chain can be simulated in SIMPACK.The main contents as follows:(1)The structure of the escalator and the failure form of escalator chain are introduced.The escalator step chain model is build based on SIMPACK software,to simulate step chain drive in normal state,chain pitch elongation,roller wear and sprocket wear state.(2)The signals under deteriorating fault condition of the escalator cascade chain are analyzed in time and frequency domain,and the change rule of the eigenvalues in different fault degree is analyzed.(3)The signals of escalator step chain under normal state,chain pitch elongation,roller wear and chain wheel wear are analyzed by wavelet packet.The energy of each component of the wavelet packet in time and frequency domain is calculated,and the energy changes of the signal wavelet packet under deteriorating fault state and normal state are compared.(4)The escalator is analyzed in FMECA based on the maintenance data,to find the weak links.The reliability fitting of maintenance data is carried out to get the failure rule of the escalator,and the reliability maintenance strategy which accords with escalator failure is put forward.
