With the development of modern rotating machinery,especially gas turbine,the whole rotor system needs to work at critical speed.However the mass imbalance of the rotor will be caused by the processing and manufacturing of rotating machinery,so that a large vibration phenomenon is likely to occur at a critical speed.If this vibration phenomenon is not controlled,it will cause damage to the machine or even more serious damage due to excessive vibration of the rotor.Therefore,the problem of rotating machinery vibration has been an important research topic in the field of rotor dynamics for a long time.There are many methods to solve this problem.The squeeze film damper designed based on oil film damping technology has been widely used in this field.The squeeze film damper not only has obvious damping effect,but also has a simple structure and high working reliability.The oil in the squeeze film damper plays a vital role in the damping effect of the whole structure.It is related to the performance of the damping structure.Therefore,in this paper,the effect of oil state on the vibration reduction performance of squeeze film damper is studied experimentally.Firstly,this paper designs and builds a rotor test rig with squeeze film damper,and introduces the test rig and various systems in detail.Then,the damping effect of the squeeze film damper is carried out under different oil film clearances.It is found that too small or too large oil film clearance can't effectively reduce vibration,and the optimal oil film clearance has a suitable range.In this experiment,it is determined that the squeeze film damper has better vibration reduction effect under the oil film clearance of 100 ?m.Finally,based on the oil film clearance of 100?m,the following research was carried out:(1)Experiments with and without oil film were carried out on the rotor test rig with squeeze film damper.It was found that the squeeze film damper with oil film had better vibration reduction effect.(2)The experiment of changing oil temperature on the rotor test rig with squeeze film damper shows that the lower the temperature,the better the vibration reduction effect of squeeze film damper.(3)The experiment of variable oil pressure on the rotor test rig with squeeze film damper shows that oil pressure has little effect on the vibration reduction performance of the damper.For the unbalanced end of the system,the oil with 0.4 Mpa pressure is the most obvious effect;for the motor end of the system,the oil with 0.6 Mpa pressure is the most obvious effect.Through the research of this topic,it provides practical support for the design of squeeze film damper.
