Study On Planning And Design Of Sightseeing Peach Garden

Tourist agricultural gardens start relatively late in our country.With the development of social economy and the improvement of people’s living standards.Under the background of rural revitalization,poverty alleviation and the development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area,tourist agricultural gardens in Guangdong province also have a flourishing development and become an important part of scenic spots.Choosing the tourist peach garden as the representative,the planning and design of tourist peach gardens was studied by the methods of literature research,field survey,questionnaire survey,and empirical cases.Firstly,the related theory of tourist agricultural gardens is expounded,which provides a theoretical basis for the planning and design of tourist agricultural gardens.Secondly,the field investigation and analysis of the Peach Flowers Village(Nanhui,Shanghai),peach garden in Yangshan(Wuxi)and Nanguo peach garden were carried out.The SD semantic difference method was used to evaluate and summarize the general rules and shortcomings of the planning and design of tourist peach garden,which could provide design conception for the later planning and design of tourist peach gardens.Finally,the planning and design of Xiaoshui village tourist peach garden in Shangping Town,Lianping County was done as an empirical case.The research contents of this paper are as follows:At first,the theory of tourist agricultural gardens was introduced.The concept,function,characteristics,the design principles and design methods of tourist agricultural gardens are expounded through a large number of literature readings.Tourist agricultural gardens have ecological function,economic function,sightseeing and leisure function,popular science education function,whose characteristics include: the combination of viewing and experience,the combination of entertainment and education,the combination of production and service,and the local nature of rural resources.The design principles of tourist agricultural gardens are as follows: to adapt to local conditions,to highlight characteristics,to give consideration to production and sightseeing,to put people first,to blend people with scenery,to pay attention to landscape construction,to focus on plant diversity;The methods of building create characteristic landscape,adopting reasonable landscape evaluation method,investigation and analysis in advance,and making rational planning in different regions could be used for the design of tourist agricultural gardens.These provide a theoretical basis for the planning and design of tourist agricultural gardens.Secondly,tourist agricultural gardens in China were analyzed and the representative gardens,such as Peach Flowers Village(Nanhui,Shanghai),peach garden in Yangshan(Wuxi)and Nanguo peach garden were selected,which were carried on the field investigation.(1)The location conditions,the location and the layout of the park,the functional zone,the main scenic spots and the infrastructure were analyzed.The quantitative evaluation is carried out by the SD semantic difference method.The total score of Peach Flowers Village(Nanhui,Shanghai)was the highest,followed by peach garden in Yangshan(Wuxi)and Nanguo peach garden through the results,which was analyzed later.(2)The similar landscape of the three gardens were compared and analyzed,including entrance landscape,water landscape,landscape avenue,landscape wall,landscape bridge,cultural square,landscape kiosk and amusement facilities.Through the comparative evaluation of the similar landscape,the cultural connotation and the importance of participatory design are obtained.(3)The general rules and shortcomings of the tourist peach garden’s planning and design were summarized.The functional positioning,theme positioning,functional zoning,park layout,service facilities planning,landscape resources,traffic location and other aspects are summarized systematically.At the same time,the common problems existing in the tourist peach garden were concluded,such as the insufficient embodiment of the landscape culture connotation,the insufficient outstanding characteristics,the participatory design to be improved,service facilities to be improved and so on.These provide a basic thinking and reference for the later practice planning and design.Thirdly,as an empirical case,the planning and design of Xiaoshui village tourist peach garden in Shangping Town,Lianping County was carried out.Combined with the abundant peach resources in the area,using the previous theoretical research and case study,drawing on the design pattern derived from the research results,the cultural connotation and participatory design were paid more attention.Taking "peach" as the theme,the peach culture was introduces to create cultural connotation landscape.The whole tourist peach garden was concatenated by "seek peach-pick peach-recognize peach-appreciate peach-taste peach" conceive route,which interacts with people and enhances the participation experience.The whole region is divided into a park,three blocks,five functional zones and 21 views.The three blocks are planting and production area,leisure viewing area and experimental study area,in which the leisure viewing area is the core area.The core area is divided into five functional zones: amorous culture district,leisure and entertainment area,farming experience area,science popularization and education area,children’s play area and so on.In the core area,21 scenic spots,such as the peach culture square,peach flower lake,peach flower island,peach flower forest photography garden,peach plucking garden,farming experience garden were designed.The garden embodies peach culture connotation and participatory design.When tourists walk in the tourist peach garden,they can experience rural customs and enjoy a cultural and artistic feast at the same time.Finally,the management mode and operation mode of the garden were put forward.
